I read this book 5 years ago and remember thinking: “I did not see that ending coming!” It felt like a 3-star read until that twist, which took my breath and thoughts away. At first, it seemed like just a girl’s summer romance, but the writing was so engaging I couldn’t stop. I barely remember the details now, including the wild ending, so I’m excited to watch the series and experience the story all over again.

Absolutely, I didn't see the ending coming either, and it left me with a feeling of sadness in my chest. For me, it was all love, privileged children, and family conflicts, but the ending was shocking. Very sad.
