Hola Hivers cinéfilos, espero estén bien. Acabo de ver la película más bizarra e incómoda de lo que va de año, pero no era menos viniendo de Bong Joon-ho el director de parásitos que también fué una locura de película e el 2019, en Mickey 17 la comedia y la ciencia ficción se unen para hacer una sátira de lo que puede ser la vida en un futuro cercano, dónde el humano intenta explotar el espacio y colonizar otros planetas pero como siempre la corrupción y la lucha de poderes de los más grandes nos llevan a los peores escenarios.

Hello Hivers cinephiles, I hope you are well. I just saw the most bizarre and uncomfortable movie so far this year, but it was no less coming from Bong Joon-ho the director of parasites which was also a crazy movie in 2019, in Mickey 17 comedy and science fiction come together to make a satire of what may be life in the near future, where the human tries to exploit space and colonize other planets but as always corruption and the power struggle of the greatest lead us to the worst scenarios.

Mickey Barnes un joven que acepta trabajar como un 'desechable' en una expedición a un planeta desconocido llamado Niflheim es clonado muchas veces para hacer experimentos en su cuerpo y también los trabajos más absurdos y que otras personas serían incapaces de hacer, se encuentra en una situación de vida o muerte tras caer a un acantilado pero sus compañeros deciden dejarlo allí y no ayudarlo ya que después será clonado otro Mickey con los mismos recuerdos sí este muere, lo más sorprendente de todo es que en este nuevo planeta que intentan explotar hay seres vivos llamados 'Gusanos' y estos gusanos ayudan a Mickey a sobrevivir llevandolo a la superficie para que pueda volver a la nave, Mickey sorprendío no entiende por qué los gusanos salvaron su vida pero ese será el menor de sus problemas ya que en la nave lo daban por muerto y ya había echo su réplica que es Mickey 18, obviamente no pueden existir 2 Mickey ya que iría contra las leyes pero complicado ya que uno de los Mickey tiene que morir, sumado a eso tienen un presidente bastardo quién el que toma las decisiones en la nave y su opción para colonizar este planeta será matar a todos los gusanos, al enterarse que hay dos Mickey decide enviarlos hasta donde están los gusanos a morir con bombas de gas en su cuerpo.

Mickey Barnes a young man who accepts to work as a 'disposable' in an expedition to an unknown planet called Niflheim is cloned many times to do experiments on his body and also the most absurd jobs and that other people would be unable to do, he finds himself in a life or death situation after falling off a cliff but his companions decide to leave him there and not help him because later another Mickey will be cloned with the same memories if he dies, the most surprising thing of all is that on this new planet they are trying to exploit there are living beings called 'Worms' and these worms help Mickey to survive by taking him to the surface so he can return to the ship, Mickey surprised does not understand why the worms saved his life but that will be the least of his problems because on the ship they thought he was dead and he had already made his replica which is Mickey 18, obviously there can not be 2 Mickey as it would be against the laws but complicated because one of the Mickey has to die, added to that they have a bastard president who makes the decisions on the ship and his option to colonize this planet will be to kill all the worms, to learn that there are two Mickey decides to send them to where the worms are to die with gas bombs in his body.

La crítica social y política de esta película está presente desde que comienza hasta que termina, lo destructivo que podemos llegar a ser los seres humanos sin importar nada y sobre todo la lucha de poderes de los que están arriba y como lo usan a su favor para manipular al resto, si bien es cierto que la película no tiene un final tan llamativo me parece que es una excelente película con buenas actuaciones y una producción magnífica, les recomiendo verla y si la viste déjame tus impresiones aquí debajo. The social and political criticism of this film is present from the beginning to the end, how destructive we humans can become no matter what and especially the power struggle of those who are above and how they use it to their advantage to manipulate the rest, although it is true that the film does not have a final so striking I think it is an excellent film with good performances and a superb production, I recommend watching it and if you saw it leave me your impressions here below.
