Hablemos un poco de Azul y No tan Rosa un film de Miguel Ferrari, han pasado casi diez años desde el estreno de esta película y aún sigue siendo una de mis películas venezolanas favoritas, recuerdo que la ví en el cine cuando se estrenó aquí en Venezuela pues llegó tiempo después de su estreno en España en el año 2012, recordemos que es una coproducción entre Venezuela y España. Espero que disfruten este pequeño review.

Let's talk a little bit about Azul y No tan Rosa a film by Miguel Ferrari, it's been almost ten years since the release of this film and it still remains one of my favorite Venezuelan films, I remember I saw it in the cinema when it was released here in Venezuela as it arrived some time after its release in Spain in 2012, remember it is a co-production between Venezuela and Spain. I hope you enjoy this little review.

Sobre su trama:

Diego (Guillermo García) un fotógrafo éxitoso que vive en Caracas, tiene un relación con Fabrizio (Sócrates Serrano) un reconocido médico, una noche le pide formalizar su relación de varios años y le pide mudarce a Mérida. Un día lo llama Valentina quien es la mamá de su único hijo Armando (Ignacio Montes) , ellos viven en España pero por razones personales Valentina la pide a Diego que se haga cargo de su hijo por un tiempo, Diego no tuvo opción, aún que son padre e hijo no se han visto en años.

La relación entre Diego y armado no es nada buena, comenzando por la falta de comunicación que han tiendo por años. No solo tienen aprender a convivir sino, reconocer y aceptarse tal como son, con reproches e inseguridades uno al otro comienza a llevarse bien, cuando Armando se entera de que la pareja de su padre, Fabrizio esta en coma, el comienza a ser un apoyo para su papá.

About the Plot:

Diego (Guillermo García) a successful photographer living in Caracas, has a relationship with Fabrizio (Sócrates Serrano) a renowned doctor, one night he asks him to formalize their relationship of several years and asks him to move to Mérida. One day Valentina calls him who is the mother of his only son Armando (Ignacio Montes) , they live in Spain but for personal reasons Valentina asks Diego to take care of her son for a while, Diego had no choice, even though they are father and son they have not seen each other for years.

The relationship between Diego and Armando is not good, starting with the lack of communication they have had for years. They not only have to learn to live together, but also to recognize and accept each other as they are, with reproaches and insecurities one to the other begins to get along, when Armando learns that his father's partner, Fabrizio is in a coma, he begins to be a support for his father.

Un poco de sus personajes:

En la película están estos dos personajes que son las amigas de Daniel, también se cuánta la historia de Delirio Del Río (Hilda Abrahamz) que antes era Alejo y se convirtió en mujer por amor pero esa es una historia muy complicada, que a ella nunca le gustaba contar 🤣 , y Perla Marina (Carolina Torres), quien trabaja con el en el estudio fotografíco, Perla es agredida por su pareja y decide irse a vivir con Daniel . La historia y personalidad de estos personajes te hacen llegar a simpatizar con ellos, reír y llorar, y hasta a bailar, pues Delirio es bailarina.

A little about its characters:

In the film there are these two characters who are Daniel's friends, also the story of Delirio Del Rio (Hilda Abrahamz) who used to be Alejo and became a woman for love but that is a very complicated story, she never liked to tell 🤣 , and Perla Marina (Carolina Torres), who works with him in the photographic studio, Perla is assaulted by her partner and decides to go to live with Daniel. The story and personality of these characters make you sympathize with them, laugh and cry, and even dance, because Delirio is a dancer.

Para concluir puedo decir que Azul y no tan Rosa nos deja un momento a la reflexión, al aceptarnos unos a los otros tal y como somos, siempre y cuando todo se base en el respeto, yo llegué a empatizar con cada uno de estos personajes. La recomiendo para un domingo en la tarde cuando quieras ver una película agradable, aunque les confieso, siempre me hace llorar.

To conclude I can say that Blue and not so Pink leaves us a moment of reflection, accepting each other as we are, as long as everything is based on respect, I came to empathize with each of these characters. I recommend it for a Sunday afternoon when you want to watch a nice movie, although I confess, it always makes me cry.
