CineTV Contest: The Consultant.

This series follows the story of Elaine and Craig, two coworkers who aspire to or hope for a better position at the company where they work. One day, out of the blue, the murder of their boss is reported. He had apparently gone out of his way to take his company to the next level. After their boss's death, we see the arrival of a strange man (Regus Patoff), who is called "Consultant." Although no one knows what kind of position this is, everyone immediately notices that this man carries something mysterious about him.

Esta serie sigue la historia de Elaine y Craig, dos compañeros de trabajo que aspiran o esperan un mejor cargo en la empresa donde trabajan, pero un día de la nada se reporta el asesinato de su jefe, quien aparentemente se había mandado a desvivir para llevar su empresa a otro nivel. Y tras la muerte de su jefe, vemos la llegada de un extraño hombre (Regus Patoff), bajo el cargo de “Consultor”, y aunque nadie sabe qué tipo de cargo es este, todos notan de inmediato que este sujeto lleva algo misterioso con él.

Starring the great actor Christoph Waltz, The Consultant is a suspense series that, beyond its incredible special effects, has a fantastic story to tell. Premiering on February 24, 2023, I remember watching television, specifically on Prime Video, when a trailer for this series appeared, and I found it really interesting, with its themes of control and solutions to the problems of a company destined for ruin.

Protagonizada por el gran actor “Christoph Waltz”, “El Consultor” es una serie de suspenso, que más allá de tener efectos especiales increíbles, tiene una fantástica historia que mostrar. Estrenada el 24 de febrero de 2023, recuerdo que mientras veía televisión, más específicamente por Prime Video, apareció una publicidad del tráiler de esta serie, y realmente me pareció muy interesante, con sus temas de control y las soluciones a los problemas de una empresa destinada a la ruina.

Among the things that stand out most in the series is the personality of the character "Regus Patoff" and his strange ideas that although they are viable are somewhat unethical, so to speak. He remains mysterious until the end and has opinions that may seem somewhat "mundane" or strange to many, and I think this detail is what makes you want to watch it all the time.

Entre lo que más destaca en la serie, es la personalidad del personaje “Regus Patoff” y sus ideas extrañas que aunque son viables son algo no ético por así decirlo, se mantiene misterioso hasta el final y tiene opiniones que pueden resultar algo “mundanas” o extrañas para muchos, y este detalle creo que es lo que te hace querer verlo en todo momento.

As I already wrote, I have no knowledge about this series regarding its popularity, but I for my part, did not even see any advertising on Prime Video MX (which is the official Facebook page), but being a series destined to have only one season (fortunately), this series I suppose did not require that advertising.

Tal como ya escribí, no tengo conocimiento sobre esta serie respecto a su popularidad, pero yo por mi parte, no vi ni siquiera publicidad en Prime Video MX (que es la página oficial de Facebook), pero al ser una serie destinada a tener una sola temporada (por fortuna), esta serie supongo que no requería esa publicidad.
