TV Show - Mentiras, la serie.
Several weeks ago I saw the trailer for this new Amazon Prime series and I thought the idea of this musical was great, as it showed us a great idea for a story about one of the most iconic Latin American musicians of the 80s. And I want to say that what impressed me most was the popularity this series gained from day one, becoming a true phenomenon throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
Hace varias semanas había visto el tráiler de esta serie nueva de Amazon Prime y me había parecido genial la idea de este musical, ya que nos mostraba una gran idea de una historia sobre una de las músicas más icónicas de Latinoamérica en los 80. Y quiero decir que lo que más me impresiono fue la popularidad que gano esta serie desde el primer día, siendo un verdadero fenómeno en toda habla hispana.
This series is called "Mentiras, La Serie," and it's inspired by a very famous Mexican work of the same name. I didn't know anything about this fact until after the series' "Boom" that the details of this work and its relationship to the series became known. The series was modified for the convenience of television, and the masterminds behind this success have admitted that this has been a difficult project, several years in the making and planned with extreme caution.
Esta serie lleva como nombre ¨Mentiras, la serie¨, y está inspirado en una obra muy famosa de México que tiene el mismo nombre. Yo no sabía nada sobre este dato, fue hasta después de ¨Boom¨ de la serie en donde se conoció los detalles de esta obra y su relación con la serie, ya que esta fue modificada para la comodidad de la televisión y las mentes maestras detrás de este éxito han admitido que este ha sido un trabajo difícil y que tiene varios años en producción y en ser planeada con total cautela.
This story follows the lives of four women who have lived a small lie that unites them: that they are in love with the same man, who has always played with them. It sounds like something out of a soap opera, but this was used to create the first Mexican soap opera/musical, and they managed to create a hit that will be remembered forever.
Esta historia sigue la vida de 4 mujeres que han vivido una pequeña mentira que las une, esta mentira es que están enamoradas del mismo hombre, ya que este ha jugado con ellas desde siempre. Parece algo de telenovela, pero esto fue aprovechado para crear la primera Novela/Musical mexicana y lograron crear un éxito que se recordará por siempre.
Among the strong points of the series are the actors in its cast, on the one hand, we have Belinda as one of the most popular singers in Mexico and who helped to give good publicity with her voice in the series, Diana Bovio and Mariana Treviño as highly popular actresses in recent times in Latin American cinema and Regina Blandón who in my opinion gave it a good image with the popularity she has on TV as one of the most famous actresses in Mexico.
Entre los puntos fuertes de la serie están los actores de su reparto, por un lado, tenemos a Belinda como una de las cantantes más populares de México y quien ayudo a dar una buena publicidad con su voz en la serie, a Diana Bovio y Mariana Treviño como actrices altamente populares en los últimos tiempos del cine Latinoamericano y a Regina Blandón que a mi parecer le dio una buena imagen con la popularidad que tiene en la TV al ser una de las actrices más famosas de México.
This series presented an excellent combination of '80s music with a touch of modernity, with a playlist that has revived Pop Ballads among the new generation. But the most important thing is the impact it had on all the people who lived through that era and grew up listening to these popular songs that remain relevant to this day.
Esta serie presentó una excelente combinación entre la música de los 80 con un toque de modernidad, con una lista de músicas que ha revivido la Balada Pop entre la nueva generación. Pero lo más importante es el impacto que generó entre todas las personas que vivieron aquella época y que se criaron con estas canciones populares que hasta hoy se mantienen vigentes.
Among my favorites is "De Mi Enamorate" by Juan Gabriel, performed by Diana Bovio in the second episode. I think it was their most beautiful song. I've listened to it and carried it in my mind since I first heard it. And I must make it clear right away that the character of Dulce, played by this same actress, her story and character development seemed the best of all.
Entre mis favoritas está ¨De Mi Enamorate¨ de Juan Gabriel, interpretada por Diana Bovio en el segundo episodio, me parece que fue la canción más bonita que tienen, la escucho y la llevo en mi mente desde que la escuche por primera vez. Y debo dejar en claro de una vez que el personaje de Dulce, que está interpretado por esta misma actriz, su historia y desarrollo de personaje me pareció el mejor entre todas.
