[Movie] Moana: The journey that teaches us to listen to our true calling

If you had the chance to fix something you did in the past that has shaped your entire life—back when things were going well for you—would you take that chance? Or would you simply forget everything that happened and move on as if it never happened? These are good questions to ask yourself as you watch this movie and appreciate how small actions can make a huge difference.

I found Moana, a 2026 film, quite interesting within the action-adventure genre. It’s worth noting that there are earlier versions of this story; the first time I saw it was as a cartoon several years ago. I loved how they were able to breathe life into these characters—they have their own humor and charisma in every scene. I feel like the film didn’t lose its essence, since often when they try to make these kinds of changes, the story ends up feeling out of sync and loses some of its charm.

The movie itself has a lot to offer. I loved the special effects—they made the rooster look quite similar to the original. I’m not usually a fan of musical numbers in movies, but despite that, I didn’t find these scenes too annoying. The humor was just like in the previous version, and it was packed with action and variety in the standout adventures.

Moana, film del 2026 me pareció bastante interesante en el genero de acción y aventura, cabe destacar que ya existen versiones anteriores de esta, la primera vez que la vi, fue en caricatura ya hace algunos años. Me encantó que pudieran darle vida humana a estos personajes, tiene su humor y carisma en cada escena, siento que no perdió la esencia de la misma, ya que en muchas ocasiones cuando quieren realizarle estos cambios se ve muy desfasada la historia y se pierde un poco el encanto.
La película en si, tiene muchas cosas por destacar, me encantó los efectos que tuvieron, el gallo lo hicieron bastante similar, yo soy de poco ver música en las películas y a pesar de todo no me pareció tan fastidiosa estás apariciones, el humor estuvo tal cual a la versión anterior, estuvo lleno de acción y diversidad en las aventuras destacadas.

Let me tell you that one of my impressions was seeing Dwayne Johnson—popularly known as The Rock, one of my favorite actors—who has had an incredible career in various movies over the years. I loved his performance; that character was truly made for him, physically speaking, and the humor he brought to every scene. It really made me laugh to see him with so much hair, haha, and I really appreciated his beautiful head of hair.

I think the most important one is about fixing something you did by mistake in the past and wanting to make amends, where acceptance and forgiveness go hand in hand. Even though it’s a sci-fi movie with scenes that aren’t realistic, it’s actually really good.

Déjenme decirles que una de mis impresiones fue ver a Dwayne Johnson, popularmente conocido como la Roca, uno de mis actores favoritos, con una trayectoria increíble en diversas películas a través de los años, me encantó su interpretación, ese personaje si que estaba destinado para el, físicamente hablando y el humor que le coloco en cada escena, me dió mucha gracia haberlo visto con mucho cabello jaja y apreciara su hermosa cabellera.
Cómo siempre les comparto el tráiler de la película, quiero destacar muchas cosas que pueden apreciar allí, primeramente la variedad de aventuras que podrán observar en toda la película, algo de comedia, acción y una gran reflexión oculta en toda esta trama, considero que es bastante completa en muchos sentidos.
Además de ser una película que intenta divertir mucho al público, siento que tiene un mensaje más profundo, como por ejemplo, la tradición en las tribus, la experiencia de explorar cosas nuevas y considero que la más importante es arreglar algo que antes habías realizado por error y quieres arreglarlo, dónde la aceptación y el perdon van de la mano. A pesar que es una película de ciencia ficción y tiene escenas que no son realistas, está muy buena la verdad.

I would have loved to see this movie in theaters, with all its special effects and just how good it really was—especially toward the end during the battle. It was quite beautiful and had a very predictable yet happy ending; I think that’s why it evokes so many mixed emotions.

Me gusta compartir con ustedes escenas que han resaltado mi atención, en esta ocasión la primera imagen muestra dónde inicio la conexión de Moana con el océano y la segunda donde empiezan a aventurarse los dos con mucha determinación a frenar todo lo que ha pasado.
Está película me hubiera gustado verla en cine, con todos los efectos que tuvo y lo realmente buena que fue, más finalizando cuando hubo la batalla, fue bastante bonita y con un final bastante esperado y feliz, creo que por eso tiene muchas emociones encontradas.
Cómo siempre les hago una pequeña recomendación para la adaptación del público, ha sido muy moderado en muchas cosas para ser apto para todos, hasta para los más pequeños de casa, tiene mucha distracción atractiva, trama, acción, aventura, ficción y humor.
