This movie started with a man and a woman lying together on the bed, while the man is trying to get the woman to have sex with him by calling her iyawomi meaning my wife, while the woman in the other hand refused and warned him never to call her that name again because he has not paid her pride price.
Will he later pay her bride price? Let's find out, as the woman goes out to sell her agbo(Yoruba medicine) she met a man who is willing to marry her.

So after the guy professed love to her for weeks, he decided to propose to her asking her to marry him with a ring
But the girl refused to take the ring and told him to go straight to her village and pay her bride price if he wants to marry her.
Because her boyfriend that she is living with tied her down with an engagement ring for so many years without marrying her.
His new boyfriend later went to her village and paid her bride price, she then went to her boyfriend house to carry her bag while she is about leaving her boyfriend rushed in to tell her that he is ready to pay her pride price but she told him that another man has already paid her bride price, he begged the girl to tell her family to refund the other guy but she told him that is too late.

In the other hand is a lady called Wemimo who lives with her boyfriend and forgot about her mother in the village.
Wemimo loves her boyfriend and does everything for him, she practically worship's the ground he stepped on which led her to do many abortions because her boyfriend told her that he is not ready to have a child out of wedlock, she believes that she is getting old and needs to marry, also with the pressure from her mother forcing her to get married.
Unknowingly to her that the man is just using her to pay his bills while he is dating another rich lady.
Even when it get to the situation of her choosing between her boyfriend and her brother, guess who she choosed? Her boyfriend which shocked her brother and her girl friend.

So after everything her boyfriend ended up getting married to his rich girlfriend which broke her heart, she later went back to the village to see her mother that she haven't seen for so many years, reaching there she find out that her mum is dead.

She was later rushed to the hospital due to 9 abortions she did while she is with her boyfriend and later died.
