Low and WORTH It!
Hello, Cine Tv Community! Welcome to our final publication in the lowest-rated segment for the week. This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions as a lot of you have expressed your shock and, in some cases, dismay at some of the movie productions and how low their ratings were. On the other days, I had been decidedly neutral on my stand, but today, to finalize this segment, I will be giving you three poorly rated films that I think are worthy of the ratings they got.
Don’t Look Up (2021)
Starting strong on the list with a 3.8 rating is Don’t Look Up. This movie is a sci-fi comedy that tells the story of Kate Dibiasky, a student on her way to a doctorate in astronomy, who discovers an unknown comet. After consultations with her adviser, she confirms that the comet is making straight for Earth and can send it into extinction. While there is worldwide panic, some other set of people in high-ranking positions are devising means to milk this pivotal occurrence for all its worth.
I won’t lie. This is one of those films I just couldn’t understand. I felt like there were too many characters, and it looked like everyone was vying for the spotlight. Plus, the premise of the story wasn’t the best, but that’s just what I think.
The next we have is...
365 Days (2020)
It begins on the beach where Massimo Torricelli watches a woman. Soon enough his Dad is murdered and he assumes leadership of Torricelli family. In Warsaw, Laura Biel is having relationship issues with her boyfriend, and on the day of her birthday, she is kidnapped by Massimo and is offered a deal she cannot refuse, which is quite literal because she really CANNOT refuse.
Even typing this summary is draining. I couldn’t understand this film, no matter how hard I tried. I made the mistake of seeing the first film in this franchise. It just made no sense. Not the premise of the film. Not the ridiculous acting, or anything in between. But they are some people who genuinely liked it, and these are the people I’d like to be hearing from.
And final on the list is
Downsizing (2017)
With as low as a 2.5 rating, this story that borders on the absurd is about a Norwegian scientist who develops something called downsizing. This, according to him, is in a bid to tackle overpopulation and global warming and this results in a whole host of people reducing to about five inches tall.
I think I saw this with one of my friends, and it was just ridiculous. We couldn’t even laugh because we were simply blown away at how ridiculous it was. I’ll just let you make the judgment for yourself. It seems to have a great start, but spirals ridiculously downwards afterwards.
There you have it! Our final picks for the week. Which of these have you seen, and which do you agree with?

Dont look up I've really forgotten how that movie ends but it was hilarious watched it along time ago, i think the aim is the light comedy part as it doesnt really contain any moral storyline.
365 days on the other hand is what i hate cause the romance and emotions are too much and at the end we dont really know why the girl was killed when she was pregnant. i try to understand this the best possible way had to rewatch to get the clear picture and yeah for me its rated 1 as it still doesn't portray any moral lesson
Great ! I love how you analyzed those movies that many people didn’t like. I personally haven’t seen any, but after reading your review, give a clear picture of why they received such ratings.
