Esta película de misterio y suspenso en una de las que más me han gustado. La vi hace unos años y ayer la encontré por casualidad y la volví a ver. Si te gustan las películas policiales esta te va a gustar mucho, es original y los giros inesperados son fenomenales. Dejo por aquí una breve descripción:

Sinopsis/Synopsis
El secreto de sus ojos es una película argentina de drama y suspenso de 2009, dirigida por Juan José Campanella. Está basada en la novela “La pregunta de sus ojos” de Eduardo Sacheri, quien coescribió el guion junto a Campanella. En 2009 tuvo mucho éxito y se convirtió en una de las más taquilleras de la historia del cine argentino. En 2010 ganó el Óscar a la mejor película extranjera. La película transcurre en la Argentina de los años setenta y se centra en la relación entre el perito Benjamín Espósito y la jueza Irene Hastings y su investigación sobre un caso de asesinato que marcó su carrera y su vida.
El secreto de sus ojos is a 2009 Argentine drama and suspense film directed by Juan José Campanella. It is based on the novel “The Question in Their Eyes” by Eduardo Sacheri, who co-wrote the screenplay with Campanella. In 2009 it was very successful and became one of the highest grossing films in the history of Argentine cinema. In 2010 it won the Oscar for best foreign film. The film is set in Argentina in the 1970s and focuses on the relationship between expert witness Benjamín Espósito and Judge Irene Hastings and their investigation into a murder case that marked his career and his life.
Mi opinión/My opinion
La trama es excelente y tiene uno giros inesperados muy intensos. El suspenso no te va a dejar levantar de la silla. Comienza con Bejamín Espósito, perito de un juzgado de la ciudad de Buenos Aires que se jubila, sin embargo hay algo que no puede dejar atrás: un caso de asesinato que lo marcó, acontecido hace veinticinco años atrás; por lo que decide escribir una novela sobre este.
The plot is excellent and has some very intense unexpected twists. The suspense will not let you get up from your chair. It begins with Bejamín Espósito, an expert witness in a Buenos Aires city court who is retiring, but there is something he cannot leave behind: a murder case that marked him, which happened twenty-five years ago; so he decides to write a novel about it.
La película se muestra en dos tiempos, que deja al descubierto cómo los recuerdos pueden ser reinterpretados con el paso de los años. En un flashback vemos a Benjamín Espósito, que está trabajando en una oficina judicial en Buenos Aires. Un día, recibe un caso de asesinato de una joven llamada Liliana Coloto, y se convierte en una obsesión para él e intentará por todos los medios resolver el caso, afectando su vida personal. A medida que avanza la investigación, se da cuenta de que el caso es más complejo de lo que inicialmente parecía. La complejidad de la naturaleza humana y sus más oscuros deseos se ponen al descubierto en esta impactante película. El deseo y la obsesión pueden terminar de manera trágica, incluso de una forma que jamás imaginas. No es mi intención dar spoilers, así que no voy a dar muchos detalles.
The film is shown in two halves, which reveals how memories can be reinterpreted over the years. In a flashback we see Benjamín Espósito, who is working in a judicial office in Buenos Aires. One day, he receives a murder case of a young woman named Liliana Coloto, and it becomes an obsession for him and he will try by all means to solve the case, affecting his personal life. As the investigation progresses, he realizes that the case is more complex than it initially seemed. The complexity of human nature and its darkest desires are laid bare in this powerful film. Desire and obsession can end tragically, even in a way you would never imagine. I don't intend to give spoilers, so I won't give away too many details.
Los personajes de la película están bien desarrollados y son creíbles. Benjamín Espósito es un personaje complejo y fascinante, interpretado por Ricardo Darín con gran habilidad. La relación entre Benjamín y su compañero de trabajo, Pablo Sandoval, interpretado por Guillermo Francella, es especialmente destacada. Es tan buena que uno puede empatizar con ellos y seguir sus pecados y sus historias con gran interés. No hay manera de que aburra o pierdas el hilo, a pesar de su complejidad. Es una película magnífica que te va a obligar a reflexionar. Si te gusta el género, no puedes dejar de verla.
The film's characters are well developed and believable. Benjamín Espósito is a complex and fascinating character, played by Ricardo Darín with great skill. The relationship between Benjamín and his co-worker, Pablo Sandoval, played by Guillermo Francella, is especially outstanding. It is so good that one can empathize with them and follow their sins and their histories with great interest. There is no way to get bored or lose the thread, despite its complexity. It is a magnificent film that will force you to reflect. If you like the genre, you can't miss it.
