There is a movie that came out recently on Netflix that, I really didn't have any faith in it but it was better than I expected.

K-pop Demon Hunters (2024) is a musical fantasy film directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. The plot follows a fictional K-pop group called HUNTR/X who in turn lead a double life as demon hunters. This movie is like watching the mixture of many things totally inspired by Korean culture and taking it, obviously, to music and K-pop which we all know is deeply rooted in Korean culture and, well, it's totally globalized.

This movie is a show of colors and the truth is quite entertaining, the songs are quite catchy and are quite good (although the truth is that no song stuck in my mind) the character designs are quite good (although I must admit that Rumi's hairstyle is horrible), they look like the typical manhwa ones. As negative points I must point out that the plot is quite simple and predictable, there are several subplots that are not clarified or only half clarified, the ending is resolved quite easily in my not so humble opinion, but well, I guess that's the nature of this kind of movies. The animation follows the trend of Spider-Man animated movies (obviously without reaching that quality), which we've been seeing lately and, well, this movie is produced by Sony Pictures Animation, so it makes sense that it has that style.
