I'm not one to watch Korean stuff, the drama which is their strongest thing I've never watched them, not because of anything in particular but because it's just not my thing. This tendency changed with “Mercy for None”, a series that has nothing to do with drama but it is Korean and it is also very well done. It is a plot where revenge is the main engine, where the protagonist will not get tired of doing whatever it takes to make all those responsible pay for what they did; at the end of the day it will be a path where violence will be the only way to respond.Hello friends, good vibes to all.

No soy de los que ve cosas coreanas, el drama que es lo fuerte de ellos nunca los he visto, no por nada en particular sino porque simplemente no es lo mio. Esta tendencia cambió con "Mercy for None", una serie que de drama no tiene nada que ver pero que es coreana y que además está muy bien hecha. Es una trama en donde la venganza es el motor principal, en donde el protagonista no se cansará de hacer lo necesario para que todos los responsables paguen por lo que hicieron; al final del día será un camino en donde la violencia será la única forma de responder.

Here we have Ki-Joon, a former member of a criminal gang who decided to leave that world more than 10 years ago and as a sign of that he cut his Achilles tendon so he now limps. That mafia eventually grew stronger to the point of splitting into two: Bongsan and Juwoon, the two organizations that control the city. In one of them works Nam Ki-seok, Ki-Joon's brother and the victim of all this. It turns out that Ki-Seok is murdered in an internal power struggle, which causes divisions and differences among all of them, since the culprit is not entirely clear at times.

Acá tenemos a Ki-Joon, un ex miembro de una banda criminal que decidió dejar ese mundo hace más de 10 años y como muestra de eso se cortó el tendón del Aquiles por lo que ahora cojea. Esa mafia con el tiempo se fortaleció al punto de dividirse en dos: Bongsan y Juwoon, las dos organizaciones que controlan la ciudad. En una de ellas trabaja Nam Ki-seok, hermano de Ki-Joon y la víctima de todo esto. Resulta que a Ki-Seok lo asesinan en una lucha poder interna lo que origina que comiencen a haber divisiones y diferencias entre todos ya que el culpable, por momentos no está del todo claro.

Ki-Joon, upon learning what happened, decides to come back from retirement to look for answers. He is highly respected by the whole world because they know what he is capable of, he is a guy with a huge strength and a great fighting ability. So once he makes an appearance and begins to investigate and to tie up ends, he decides to annihilate one by one all those who were involved both directly and indirectly. The plot is basically that, to impart “justice” left and right to avenge the death of his brother who was also a very good person. What is really attractive about the series is the way in which everything is carried out, which makes it super eye-catching.

Ki-Joon al enterarse de lo sucedido decide volver de su retiro a buscar respuestas. Él es sumamente respetado por todo ese mundo porque conocen de lo que es capaz, es un tipo con una fuerza descomunal y una capacidad de pelea muy grande. Así que una vez hace acto de presencia y empieza a investigar y a atar cabos pues decide ir aniquilando uno a uno a todos los que estuvieron involucrados tanto directa como indirectamente. La trama básicamente es eso, impartir "justicia" a diestra y siniestra para vengar la muerte de su hermano quien además era una muy buena persona. Lo realmente atractivo de la serie es la forma en cómo se lleva a cabo todo, lo que la hace super vistosa.

There are fights of all kinds with all kinds of weapons except firearms, that's a curiosity. Bats, pipes, knives and your own hands and legs are what we will see used to impart pain and order. It is very graphic, lots of blood, decapitations, mutilations, broken bones, fractures; on a visual level it is very raw to watch but that makes it very entertaining for all those who like the genre. The story does have a script, there is a kind of line but very elementary. There is no plot twist or anything, you always know what is going to happen and who is who. That surprise factor is maybe what was missing a little bit.

Hay peleas de toda clase con todo tipo de armas menos de fuego, eso es una curiosidad. Bates, tubos, navajas y las propias manos y piernas es lo que veremos usar para impartir dolor y orden. Es muy gráfica, mucha sangre, decapitaciones, mutilaciones, huesos rotos, fracturas; a nivel visual es muy cruda de ver pero eso la hace muy entretenida para todos aquellos que les gusta el género. La historia si tiene un guión, hay una especie de línea pero muy elemental. No hay plot twist ni nada, siempre sabes que va a pasar y quien es quien. Ese factor sorpresa es quizás lo que faltó un poco.

Acting-wise it's very good, all these actors, mostly men because there are no women here, another curiosity, come from dramas or even K-Pop characters. We know how complete these people are. It's pure action, a crime thriller but it's true that there is some drama at times, little but there is some, that's when we see the acting side. All in all it's a pretty decent and addictive series to watch. I give it an 8.5/10, it is very well done, the scenes are well done, good fight choreography, good effects. It's worth a lot of money. It's on Netflix and consists of 7 episodes.

A nivel actoral es muy buena, todos estos actores, en su mayoría hombres porque no hay mujeres acá, otra de las curiosidades, vienen de los dramas o hasta son personajes del K-Pop. Sabemos lo completo que son estas personas. Es pura acción, un thriller criminal pero si que es verdad que algo de drama hay a veces, poco pero lo hay es ahí cuando vemos la faceta interpretativa. A fin de cuentas es una serie bastante decente y adictiva de ver. Le doy un 8.5/10, está muy bien hecha, las escenas están bien logradas, buenas coreografías de peleas, buenos efectos. Vale mucho la pena. Está en Netflix y consta de 7 episodios.

It's nice exit few days ago on netflix and I actually heard many good things about this TV show I must watch it soon 💖💖
