The Originals

Call me a movie lover and I would gladly accept. There is something about nice and good movies.

This movie is no other than the Originals, the continuation of Vampire Diaries, a vampire movie, with themes that explore, secret, betrayal, love, revenge, and family drama.

If you're a lover of supernatural power, werewolf and vampire genre then this movie is for you.

The character Klaus, an original, returns after long years of being away to reclaim the city he built and seeing the one he calls son “Marcel” as the leader. In order not to break their bond Klaus with his cunny attitude tries to take away the city from him, more drama from both the witches and the werewolves spring up. Will the werewolf and vampire ever live peacefully together? What about the people who can control the world with spells?

Family secrets, duty and responsibility, love and lust, pain and misery.

One night fling that gives birth to something that isn't supposed to be born. Marcel is still in love with Klaus’s sister even after several years of being apart. Klaus in love with Marcel's girlfriend and Elijah in love with the woman that is pregnant for Klaus.

Complicated love life, things get more hot when these love birds experience more conflicts that break them apart, family duties, clan duties and leadership. Will they ever find true happiness? Deep family secrets are unveiled.

I would say the characters performed so well. The beginning of the movie starts with a werewolf being pregnant for a vampire but outrightly got rejected because it was a one- night flirt while Elijah who had fate on his brother thinking having a child was going to redeem his selfish and self centered attitude fell in love. Elijah thought he never deserves love and thought he’s a beast who will always hurt those he loves which is why he pushes Hayley away.

And the dutiful sister Rebekah who wants a happy ever with Marcel but her brother Klaus is an obstacle even to the extent of betraying her brother just to have her freedom gets more things complicated by resurrecting the last person Klaus hates so much, his weakness. His father who maltreated him because he's a hybrid. Rebekah never thought for once her selfish desires could bring down the city of Orleans which is Klaus's pride.

Klaus is a rational character I must say, self centered and makes decisions for his selfish reasons without once thinking of others, easy judgement of character. Most of his decisions end up getting him in trouble. A leader without empathy as a quality. Most times act without thinking and when the consequences back fire, he expects loyalty from his siblings.

What happens when Klaus finds out his sister's betrayal? Will he ever forgive his sister or put her to millions of years to sleep? Will Klaus ever find true happiness or will his selfish attitude keep pushing the people that truly love him away? Find out more.
