Jagten (The Hunt) ESP/ENG

Saludos amantes del cine de #CineTV. He estado ausente por algunos cuantos días y es que la vida como madre me toma mucho tiempo y a veces no tengo tiempo ni de sentarme a escribirles algo para compartir con ustedes. Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de ver Jagten. Protagonizada por uno de mis actores favoritos: Mad Mikkelsen, por eso quiero contarles mi opinión sobre la misma.

Greetings, movie lovers at #CineTV. I've been away for a few days because life as a mother takes up a lot of my time, and sometimes I don't even have time to sit down and write something to share with you. I recently had the opportunity to see Jagten. It stars one of my favorite actors, Mad Mikkelsen, so I want to tell you what I thought of it.

Esta película cuenta el caso particular de un profesor de niños de kinder quien por un malentendido con uno de los niños a quienes cuida, lo lleva a una situación desesperante, impotente y muy injusta. Yo cuando la vi, logré conectar con su personaje en todo momento.

This film tells the story of a kindergarten teacher who, due to a misunderstanding with one of the children in his care, finds himself in a desperate, helpless, and very unfair situation. When I saw it, I was able to connect with his character throughout.

Pero, ¿cómo ocurre todo? Esta película te demuestra que los problemas le llegan sólos a uno. Y es que esta tierna niña que sale en la foto, interpreta a Klara, una chiquilla que está enamorada de su profesor. ¿Y quién no se enamoraría de él a esa edad? Si es todo un don Juan, pero moralmente hablando que ocurra una relación amorosa entre un niño y un adulto es ilegal y está prohibido.

But how does it all happen? This film shows you that problems come to you on their own. The sweet girl in the photo plays Klara, a young girl who is in love with her teacher. And who wouldn't fall in love with him at that age? He's a real Don Juan, but morally speaking, a romantic relationship between a child and an adult is illegal and prohibited.

Como todo niño, dentro de su inocente mente, Klara ve a este profesor como el amor de su vida y se arma de valor para declarle su amor eterno. Mikkelsen, por su parte lo maneja de manera muy profesional y elude la situación exitosamente, al menos por un momento, ya que la niña lamentablemente lo lleva a otro nivel.

Like any child, in her innocent mind, Klara sees this teacher as the love of her life and plucks up the courage to declare her eternal love for him. Mikkelsen, for his part, handles it very professionally and successfully defuses the situation, at least for a moment, as the girl unfortunately takes it to another level.

Ella al no estar conforme con la respuesta que obtuvo, se molesta tanto que como todo niño, lo más lógico es que haga un berrinche o se moleste hasta que se le pase, pero con Klara no ocurre esto. Ella es una niña muy madura para su edad y es por cosas que no debe saber que acusa a su profesor de haberla tocado de manera indebida, es decir sexualmente.

Not satisfied with the answer she received, she becomes so upset that, like any child, the most logical thing to do would be to throw a tantrum or get angry until she calms down, but this is not the case with Klara. She is a very mature girl for her age, and because of things she should not know, she accuses her teacher of touching her inappropriately, that is, sexually.

Y es aquí donde la trama toma un curso oscuro e injusto. Ya que lo que sucede a continuación con este profesor es producto de una falsa acusación donde nadie le cree sino sólo a lo que dijo Klara.

And this is where the plot takes a dark and unjust turn. What happens next to this teacher is the result of a false accusation where no one believes him, but only what Klara said.

Pero qué pasa cuando a niña se ve forzada a mantener su "verdad" porque la influencian otras personas como sus padres y otras amistades que cuidan de la niña y para protegerla hacen lo que sea necesario para que el culpable pague por lo que hizo.

But what happens when a girl is forced to stick to her “truth” because she is influenced by other people, such as her parents and other friends who care for her and, in order to protect her, do whatever it takes to make sure the guilty party pays for what they did?

Al ver el trato tan injusto que le dieron a este hombre de la noche a la mañana sin explicasión alguna, además de haber manejado tan mal la situación sólo de pensar que algo así pudo haber sido verdad, me hizo cuestionarme como madre, a tal punto de dudar de la palabra de mi hijo.

Seeing how unfairly this man was treated overnight without any explanation, and how badly the situation was handled, just thinking that something like that could have been true made me question myself as a mother, to the point of doubting my son's word.

Y es que sabemos que todo niño, incluso a corta edad es capaz de decir mentiras, el detalle es saber distinguir cuándo lo hacen, sobre todo si se trata de un tema tan delicado como el acoso sexual entre un adulto y un infante. Acá no valió nada los años de trabajo de este profesor, su ética profesional y versión de los hechos, sólo se tomó en cuenta lo que afirmó la niña y ya, todo siguió su curso y quien pagó unas consecuencias muy crueles fue el profesor. Así que esta historia te hace reflexionar como padre, como docente. Fue por eso que me gustó y si tuviera que darle una calificación, le doy 8/10. Hasta mi próximo post, saludos!

We know that all children, even at a young age, are capable of telling lies. The key is knowing how to distinguish when they do so, especially when it comes to such a sensitive issue as sexual harassment between an adult and a child. In this case, the teacher's years of work, his professional ethics, and his version of events were worthless. Only the girl's statement was taken into account, and everything followed its course, with the teacher paying a very cruel price. So this story makes you reflect as a parent and as a teacher. That's why I liked it, and if I had to give it a rating, I'd give it an 8/10. Until my next post, best regards!
