The Most Brilliant Thing in The Reacher Series's Plot
After watching the three seasons of the Reacher Series, I made this post talking about how one of the episodes was the dumbest in series history. LOL. I know, a bit harsh, but if you read the post you'll see why.
After making that post I planned to make another talking about this really brilliant thing that was in the series too, but I've been putting it off. That comes to an end today 😀.
By far the most impressive thing about the series, if you ask me, was the crime that was uncovered in the Season 1. I know the stories were already written into books by the British Author Lee Child, but it is still part of the series the same way some of the flaws I talked about is.
The crime that was being done in that Season 1 was so brilliant and I wonder if it was something that happened in real life or if the author came up with that on his own.
Here's the crime: these guys were going to print USD for themselves, they had the tools but didn't have the paper to print it, instead of going through the hell it would take to get the papers they decided instead to take $1 notes, wash off the ink on them and make them blank papers again, and then use them to create $100 notes.
I had a mindgasm once this crime became clear. Especially as it wasn't just revealed at once the way I've described it here. It was uncovered slowly, we knew these guys were printing money illegally, but it was a huge wonder how they got the paper to print. It seemed like a huge scheme was going to be revealed where they got the paper from a corrupt person in the government or something like that.
But it turned out they simply made it from $1 notes. I started wishing I was the one who thought about this stuff, I would have made a crazy story with it. LOL. (I already have a crazy story of my own, though, in my book Professor Otagburuagu)😉.
But Lee Child did a great job with the idea, though.
When a mystery, especially a crime, is investigated in a story it is always so pleasantly mind-blowing when what is uncovered turns out to be a very brilliant scheme. At that point even if you're a good citizen who wants the best for society you just find yourself admiring the criminals and feeling like they deserve the success they were getting and like it would have been an injustice if they didn't get anything for being this brilliant. LOL.
I watched an interview of Frank Abagnale, the real life con man who was the subject of the movie Catch Me if You Can (2002). In that interview he talked about all the brilliant scams he did and the audience of the show applauded every single brilliant one of them and laughed heartily at how humorously he described his crimes.
Everybody appreciates a brilliant idea, even if it is menacing. LOL

Thank you!
So, last night I decided to stop downvoting you.
Then, this morning, I was advised you've reached out to people I know on Discord to plead your case and seek access to my brother in a bid to dictate my actions, as if anyone other than myself can dictate my own actions.
It wasn't a smart move as I have now reversed my decision I made last night. You feel entitled to something, but you're not.
So, now you have yourself and your ego and hubris to blame for the future; had you not acted in an entitled matter and reached out to a friend of mine in a bid to restrict the freedom I have to use my stake as I see fit, you would not be receiving my attention any more.
You are free to act as you please, I'm not asking you to stop, but remember that freedom extends to everyone else.
It wasn't to dictate your actions but just to help me beg you. I wasn't also feeling entitled to anything, I was only begging. You can ask to see the chat, in the chat I was nothing but supplicatory.
I made a mistake, I thought upvoting yourself with a delegation was not selfvoting because it was not your Hive power and it was like upvoting yourself with someone else's Hive Power. If it was my own Hive Power I wouldn't have selfvoted at all.
When you started downvoting me I felt that was an issue so I stopped selfvoting and you know I haven't selfvoted in about 2 months now since your first downvote.
Even with the downvotes I didn't try to salvage anything with self votes. If I was really into selfvoting that would have been the first thing I would have done but you can check all the posts again if you're not sure, I never selfvoted them even once.
Then about using AI that's totally wrong, I've never used AI to write anything in my life and I'm sure it is clear from all my posts. I'm a published writer and ideas and writing are the easiest things in the world for me to come up with. I've been writing since I was a child and I can't miss out on the pleasure of writing by delegating it to a third party.
About not contributing to the community I've told you how I've done that so far.
The friend of yours I talked to bought a copy of my book when it was published some years ago and I thought because he's crossed paths with me in that way he would be in a good position to help me beg you. Why is asking someone to help me beg you such a bad thing? They can't dictate your actions but because of their closeness to you they can plead better than a stranger can, and that was my thinking.
Please ask them if I sounded entitled or rude or if I wasn't only pleading.
@galenkp, how about I do penance?
I got the delegation in November and I selfvoted until two months ago. So that is 6 months of selfvoting. So far you have downvoted me for two months.
How about you down vote me for 4 more months so that it would be 6 months of downvotes for 6 months of selfvotes?
The selfupvotes were less than $1 but your downvotes have varied from $1+ to $4 for the past two months. So that is worth more than any two months of selfvotes I have done, but we'd not have that in consideration, we'd simply count it as two months and just do 4 more months of downvotes worth $1 for each downvote.
Do you think this is fair too?
If downvoting for that long would be stressful for you we can agree that I'll do the downvotes myself, but I wonder if that is possible, I've never tried but I think it should be.
What do you think, please? I really want to make this right. (Remember I thought selfvoting was okay because it was not my Hive Power but a delegation. Now I know better)
