MALEFICENT MISTRESS OF EVIL

Maleficent was one of the most fairy tale movies I have ever enjoyed watching the way the capture your mind soul and attention and then a smile at last is just a sweet spice that will make you glue to the movie without checking time I watched the first Maleficent more than two times without getting bored each scene making you eager to know what's gonna happen next even though you already know and then again just yesterday I saw MALEFICENT MISTRESS OF EVIL on my movie box and that was were I spent the remaining half day of yesterday You don't need a popcorn you just have to get angry at some character shout laugh smile and cry if necessary but in all you're definitely going to enjoy this movie

PLOT OF THE MOVIE

In the first Maleficent movie there's this powerful yet misunderstood fairy who was at war with the human race she placed a curse on a little princess Aurora but fate happens she became the little girls godmother she loved her so much and that love broke the curse she once casted upon princess Aurora the little girl grew up to adulthood became the queen of the Moors under her leadership the magical creatures of the forest thrives which also brought peace with the neighboring human kingdom Ulstead with Maleficent watching over her from the shadows both as a guardian and mother figure

But then this peace was tested when Prince Philip of Ulstead fell in love with Aurora and proposed a marriage to Aurora it was a union to finally unite their two worlds while Maleficent was in Total disagreement with this new development but because of her love for Aurora she agreed to meet Philip's parents King John and Queen Ingrith at a royal dinner meant to celebrate their children's engagement and bring the kingdom closer

Well the dinner didn't go as planned as everything ended in chaos Queen Ingrith under the guise of pleasantries insults Maleficent and provoked her by saying that Aurora is not safe under her care Maleficent in other to restrain and anger tries to leave with Aurora but things spiral out of control The King suddenly falls into a magical sleep and the queen accused maleficent of curing the king Aurora was heartbroken and confused and refused to leave with her this got Maleficent more angry in the miss of escaping she was struck by an iron bullet which forced her down into the sea but luckily she was rescued by another fairy just like her she was taken to a hidden cave where she discovered a lot of secrets about her existence first she wasn't the only existing fairy there were more her kind called the Dark Fae powerful beings who has been under hiding for years because of humans

Still at the cave Maleficent meet Conall a wise compassionate leader and her actually savior who believes in making peace with the humans and another character Borra a battle hardened hot blooded warrior who seeks nothing but war and vengeance as Maleficent struggles with her identity she realized that she wasn't just an ordinary fairly but a descendant of the Phoenix a rare lineage tied to an ancient magic
Back in Ulstead Queen Ingrith true nature was revealed she wasn't seeking peace her intentions was to destroy magical creatures out of revenge for tbe death of her brother and the taste for power
She used the wedding as a trap to destroy all the magical citizens of the Moors using irons and a red fairy dust a substance that's capable of killing fae it also turns out that she was in fact the person who used the cursed string on the king

As the queen unleashed her deadly plan at the so called wedding causing a war between the Dark Fae and Ulstead’s armed force causing a clash in the sky between the winged warriors and the armored soldiers resulting to the death of many by the red dust
Maleficent now fully embracing her destiny returned in the midst of the battle with her magical wings defeated most of the armored soldiers with the same anger she confronted the queen ready to end everything at once yet the love she had for Aurora was more stronger than winning the war she sacrificed herself in the process of protecting her goddaughter she was turned into ashes only to be reborn again in a more stunning transformation a PHOENIX
From ashes Maleficent rose in a phoenix form that symbolizes rebirth power and forgiveness with her new found strength she was able to stop the battle restoring peace once again between the two kingdoms

Aurora and Philip later got married in a very beautiful ceremony that united the two worlds Maleficent happy that Aurora was in a safe hand returns back to the Moors with the remaining Dark Fae that was after she must have turned Queen Ingrith into a goat and sent her away for her crimes She promised Aurora she will return when the time's right perhaps during christening

MY REVIEW OF THE MOVIE
This movies is more than a tale of magic and war to me it's a movie that shows the sincerity and sacrifice of Love the power of identity forgiveness and reconciliation it shows that choosing peace over violence has and always will be the best option in settling a conflict or misunderstanding
It also shows the power of acceptance knowing that we didn't make ourselves the way we are accepting who you are and also the difference of others is one of the best way to live in harmony with each other I so much love this movie and I'm definitely rewatching it again
I'm giving it a five star up
