A Question of Faith (2017)

I saw this movie about a week ago and it reminded me that God is always close if we can just open our hearts to Him, He knows how best to heal our wounds.

A question of faith is a Christian drama which shows how three families experienced tradegy in different ways and were at the verge of losing hope. Their pain led them into a season of doubt and worry.

So Pastor David Newman, is a good husband and a father of 2 sons. He tries to combine taking over his father's ministry and being available for his family.

While Kate Hernandez, a local restaurant owner is a single mother to Maria Hernandez. Kate is also a Christian mother trying to groom her daughter to be more responsible.

Finally, John Danielson. He is a husband and a father of a daughter who had a beautiful singing career. And John tries to use his daughter's career to aid his failing construction company.

These families collide when they all faced a tragic experience that brought them together. So one of the days when Maria set out to make deliveries for her mom, she was texting while driving and she, not being fully conscious of the road ended up hitting Eric ( Pastor David's younger son) , he was immediately rushed to the hospital while Maria was arrested.

And for John, his daughter collapsed when she was auditioning for a record label and when taken to the hospital, she was discovered to have a threatening health issue.

While all these incidents rose up, it made the families question their faith one way and the other. And as they all try to sort a solution out of all the experiences, life brings them close to each other and closer to the creator who in the end leads them along a path of discovery and relief from the pain and agony.
