Another simple favor || Surprise packaged

Wow! This was the last word that came out of my mouth when I finished this movie. When I thought I got everything predicted then Boom! I was the one mistaken.
Have you guys watched a movie where you thought this is how it's going to be or thought of a character as being evil only to find out you were totally wrong? This was more like “Don't judge a book by the cover scenario.”

Another Simple Favour is a global prime movie released on May 1, 2025. It talks about the story of Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick), who is a widowed mother. She runs a vlog on crafts and recipes. Emily (Blake Lively), is a reputed PR Director for a fashion company and belongs to the upper echelons of the society. Her son goes to the same elementary school that Stephanie's son goes to.

That was just a tip of the story. First before I tell you what happened and what to expect from this movie, let me first talk about why and how I chose this movie.

Like you all know, I don't consider myself more of a movie type of person. Meaning I hardly watch movies. But that day I went to my movie box, In search of a movie I could use as a distraction from my busy schedule. The day was already getting to my head and I needed a break.

Scrolling through my Moviebox, I came across this movie “ANOTHER SIMPLE FAVOUR”, to be sincere I'm not going to lie, I scrolled past it, then came back to it. I paused and I felt I should download. Of course I did but I didn't go ahead to watch the movie that day. After like a day I went back to my movie box, the movie was the first thing that was looking at me, and I was staring back. I decided to watch, little did I know I would love it.

Initially I thought it wasn't going to be interesting because the graphics on Moviebox didn't look promising to me. But surprisingly it was one of the most intriguing movies I've watched this week.

When I learnt that Stephanie was making money from selling a true crime book about her friend Emily also known as Hope, who killed her twin sister and has been locked up, I was kinda curious and thought to myself, she deserves it. Then I learnt that Stephanie had an affair with Emily's husband before the case, that's when I said Wow, that's crazy.

To be sincere when Emily came to blackmail Stephanie into coming to her wedding, I loved her aura, that bossy bitch, but I was also scared for Stephanie's life because that lady really wasn't innocent.

I was expecting Emily to be the villain that killed Sean and Dante, her husband and framed Stephanie for it. I thought she wanted to get back at Stephanie for having an affair with her husband, taking her son away from him and being the reason she was in jail. You know Emily had a lot of reasons to want to end Stephanie's life l, I thought that's the reason she brought her to Rome to be her maid of honour, so she could give her an honorable death.

I really cursed Emily for killing her husband just for the money, but really while I was watching the movie, this lady, who is her auntie, always got suspicious of her. To some extent I thought she was working hand in hand with Emily to steal from the Mob a sum of $20 million dollars. She got some balls!

Then the twist happened. Did you know that Emily wasn't even the one at the wedding, she wasn't the one who killed Sean, and she wasn't even the one who framed Stephanie and got the whole police force against her?

It was her triplets Charity who Stephanie calls “Sisters Fucker.”
How was that even possible? It turns out that Linda, her aunt, stole Charity when she was born, portraying that she died of cord strangulation, unknown to everyone Linda was training and grooming Charity for her dirty jobs.

Let me stop here. I think you should really watch this movie if you like twists, suspense, Romance and Crime solving movies.
