Happy Mother's day to all the incredible, selflessness mother's out there, grinding and supporting their family all day everyday, we love you all ♥

FOREVER MY GIRL is a heartwarming movie that focuses on motherhood, family, forgiveness and personal growth.Josie is the special mother character in this movie, she is a mother who raises her daughter Billy on her own despite the pain, trauma, headache she had experienced and this is due to the fact that she was left at the alter by Billy's father Liam way before she even knew she was pregnant 🤰

What I love about this movie?

With the hurt and betrayal Josie felt after being left at the alter, she had every right to paint Liam, the father of her daughter as a bad man to her child but she didn't, rather she spoke less of him probably not to trigger her emotions, which I must say is understandable, she made her daughter experience all form of love from Liam's father, Billy's grand father and even named her daughter after liams late mother, to honour her memory.

The truth is with today's society, it is actually rare to see such, instead we see parents trying to bash each other out to their children and I think that is really wrong and it will have effect on that child growing up.

            Scene that still pops
             into my mind

When Liam meet Billy for the first time at the flower shop, it made me so emotional. Josie would have been all aggressive and all, trying to deny the fact that Billy is his but she did not, rather she sat down and spoke to him on how she found out about being pregnancy and the struggles she had caring for Billy.

      Performances of the actors/
  actresses That left an impression

Billy's reasoning in the movie was spectacular, I must say she was mature for her age,the return of her father never made the genuine love she had for her mother weaver, and being able to sense the fact that her parents still love and care for each other after so many wrongs impressed me so much.

  What about the mother's character
made me drawn to this choice

The mother selflessness and devotion towards her daughter Billy is admirable to the core, making her a loving mother who is able to sacrifice her all for her child.

Is this a good/bad mother figure

Definitely good and this is because she never deprived her child from having a relationship with Liam her father
or his family members, I mean Josie continously attended church service of which Liam's father is the pastor.

Josie's character reminds me alot about a friend of mine, they have not gotten together like how Josie and Liam did but they are both present for their child, loving him equally and being present. Sometimes I feel like they are planing to hit us with wedding invitation card because of how they are with each other.

Mothers day is celebrated in my country, it is marked by several activities in churches and schools, which is different from the special treatment gotten from the children and husband's at home.My country is very diverse, so in my culture, it was not cared about but am glad due to civilization alot of changes are being made towards that.

I have spent his movie and it is a great one. It shows the protectiveness of mothers irrespective of the father's faults.

I love the duet played by Billy and Liam at the concert

Nice review

Oh my goodness! yes I really loved them singing together at the end of the movie, with Josie looking at them lovingly, it really gave the movie more sweet touch.
