Movie Review: When Forever begins
This movie Where Forever Begins was produced by Susan Adetunji. It’s a very interesting Nollywood movie. The movie starts with Daniel Etim, known as Timini in the movie, trying to have fun with a lady, but he suddenly fainted. The lady ran out, and on her way out she met Timini’s cook. She told him what happened, and he quickly rushed upstairs. By the time he got there, Timini was already awake. She gave him water and took care of him.

Through their conversation, we discover that Timini has cancer and has refused treatment. He’s just waiting for the day he will die because he doesn’t want to give anyone false hope. His mother even died while looking for a solution for him. His family doctor later called to tell him they had found a possible treatment, but he still refused. Because of this, he doesn’t date anyone anymore. The only person he is close to is his cook.

One day, Timini had a dream where he saw himself getting married. But as he was about to exchange rings, he fell and died. He narrated the dream to his cook, who encouraged him to seek treatment, but he still refused. His grandmother also advised him, and she kept sending different ladies to his house, hoping he would have a child before he dies. But he refused because he didn’t want anyone to miss him when he’s gone.
One day, the cook told him she was going home early because her cousin was coming to Lagos for an interview. The cousin, Oluchi, arrived in Lagos and prepared for her interview on Monday morning. Her aunty sent her to deliver soup to Timini since her interview was in the same area. When she got there, Timini opened the door and realized she was the same lady he saw in his dream. He was shocked.

Oluchi went for the interview but didn’t get the job. She was sad and didn’t want to return to her hometown, so she decided to stay in Lagos. The next day, when the cook arrived at Timini’s house, he asked about Oluchi. When he heard she didn’t get the job, he offered to help and got her one. Oluchi was very happy, and in appreciation, she cooked for him. That was how their friendship started, and later they started falling in love. But Timini didn’t want that, so he began avoiding her.
Oluchi noticed it and confronted him. One day they met at a club, went home together, and had fun. The next day Oluchi travelled to Port Harcourt. When Timini woke up, he found out the condom they used had broken. He immediately travelled to Port Harcourt to give her pills to avoid pregnancy. Oluchi was hurt and thought it meant he didn’t love her. Timini was forced to confess his health condition. But Oluchi insisted she would stay with him and begged him to get treated.
After much talking, and after Oluchi told him she was pregnant, he finally agreed to treatment. Oluchi stayed with him throughout, even while pregnant. Timini survived, Oluchi gave birth to a baby girl, and they eventually got married and lived happily.

I love happy ending movies, and I rate this one 8/10 because it is full of love and emotion. This movie taught me that love conquers all and love is worth fighting for. Timini was ready to fight his health challenge because he found someone he loved deeply. The ones who truly love us will always stay, others left him, but Oluchi stayed.
