The Last of Us - a new series featuring😊🤷 a lot of embarrassing zombies.

The Last of Us is set in a post-apocalyptic, post-pandemic future and features the relationship between Joel, a smuggler, and Ellie, a teenage girl who may hold the key to ending the pandemic. Joel, a hardened survivor, must get the 14-year-old out of the quarantine zone. What starts as a minor action becomes a brutal and emotional journey through the dystopian version of the USA, depending on each other for survival.

It is interesting that in reality the pandemic in video games and series is caused by a fungus similar to some existing in real life, of the type Cordyceps. In The Last of Us, people who become zombies have their brains infected with this strange parasite. So it seems that our story is related to something that could be real - at first glance it seems something scary, something that can cause a little panic in the ranks of human civilization all over the earth - by no means only on the American continent.

Honestly, at the moment it's hard for me to give a final opinion after the first episode, but at first glance it looks promising - so, i'm still waiting for the next episode. There is nothing new in this series of post-apocalyptic movies/series, but being an HBO product inspired by a video game that would be famous, it will definitely attract viewers.
