Tom Hanks es uno de los actores y directores más reconocido en el mundo del cine, ha interpretado diversos personajes que le han aportado a todo el éxito que tiene en la actualidad; es uno de los actores que tiene una trayectoria impecable con películas y series que han maravillado a millones de personas que han seguido su carrera y a otras como en mi caso, que no son fans del actor, pero sabe apreciar el buen trabajo que realiza.
Tom Hanks is one of the most recognized actors and directors in the world of cinema, he has played several characters that have contributed to all the success he has today; he is one of the actors who has an impeccable career with films and series that have amazed millions of people who have followed his career and others like me, who are not fans of the actor, but know how to appreciate the good work he does.

Sinceramente, a mí no me gusta el actor, pero tampoco me desagrada, he visto muy pocas pelis donde él participa y sé reconocer el buen trabajo que Tom realiza; sin embargo, mis padres son muy fans del actor, por lo que en este Contest estaré plasmándoles las opiniones que tienen ambos sobre una de las películas que ellos consideran es la mejor de Tom Hanks y comparándolas con las que yo he visto creo que concuerdo totalmente con mis padres.
Honestly, I don't like the actor, but I don't dislike him either, I have seen very few movies where he participates and I know how to recognize the good work that Tom does; however, my parents are big fans of the actor, so in this Contest I will be expressing their opinions about one of the movies that they consider the best of Tom Hanks and comparing them with the ones I have seen, I think I totally agree with my parents.

Náufrago es una película que fue estrenada en el año 2000 de la mano del director Robert Zemeckis y fue protagonizada por el gran actor Tom Hanks, esta película mis padres la catalogan como la mejor película que tiene el actor y sienten que la actuación que tiene en Náufrago es simplemente maravillosa al punto de dejarte la piel de gallina, en lo personal siento que es una película muy buena que te deja grandes enseñanzas al finalizarla lo cual es un punto muy positivo a la hora de ver la peli.
Castaway is a movie that was released in 2000 by director Robert Zemeckis and starred the great actor Tom Hanks, this movie is considered by my parents as the best movie of the actor and they feel that his performance in Castaway is simply wonderful to the point of giving you goosebumps, personally I feel that it is a very good movie that leaves you great teachings at the end which is a very positive point when watching the movie.

La historia nos lleva junto Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) quien es un analista de sistema de una compañía muy importante, un día Chuck emprende un viaje en avión y durante este vuelo se forma una tormenta que hace que el avión caiga en el Océano Pacífico dejando a Chuck varado en una isla donde tendrá que buscar la manera de sobrevivir y mantenerse completamente cuerdo hasta que alguien llegue a rescatarlo.
The story takes us along with Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) who is a system analyst of a very important company, one day Chuck takes a plane trip and during this flight a storm forms that causes the plane to fall into the Pacific Ocean leaving Chuck stranded on an island where he will have to find a way to survive and stay completely sane until someone comes to rescue him.

La trama de la película es fuerte, tiene una historia que te muestra el lado difícil de estar varado completamente solo en una isla desierta, el ritmo va creciendo a medida que van pasando las escenas, se va notando el cambio físico en el personaje y eso le suma muchísimo a la peli, siento que es una peli que está muy bien estructurada y que no deja preguntas sin responder, simplemente es una historia plana donde el único objetivo es sobrevivir y mantener la mente clara en todo momento, lo cual se le dificulta muchísimo a Chuck debido a los obstáculos que se le va presentando a lo largo de la película.
The plot of the film is strong, it has a story that shows you the difficult side of being stranded all alone on a desert island, the pace is growing as the scenes go by, the physical change in the character is noticeable and that adds a lot to the film, I feel that it is a very well structured movie that leaves no questions unanswered, it is simply a flat story where the only goal is to survive and keep a clear mind at all times, which is very difficult for Chuck due to the obstacles that are presented to him throughout the film.

It was one of Tom Hanks' movies that I thought was good. The scene that moved me the most was when he finds out that his wife had married someone else after being rescued from the island. Although it was fun to watch him struggle on the island for a love that was easily given up, it was sad in the end.

I was reading not that long ago that the best actors normally will say that the most difficult acting is when you have to do it all on your own. James Franco said this about that movie where you got his arm caught in a rock and had to cut it off. I'm disappointed in myself for not remember the name of it :)
Castaway is such a brilliantly done movie that I actually got close to crying when Wilson gets away from him. I've seen this movie several times and would gladly watch it again!
