Once again, we were surprised by the enthusiasm and participation rate in this April edition of the Hive Power Up Day.

We are delighted to see how many users are participating in this initiative, which testifies to the good health of our platform and the confidence and investment of the members of our community.

The Power Up Month is underway. Remember that you can also earn a Power Up Month badge.

What are the PUD stats for this month?

As usual, let's start first with those who choose to help others grow, the Power Up Helpers, as those are the ones who deserve the most attention.

We have 3 users who have made a power-up to another account and have thus allowed 3 people to get their PUD badge.

Together, the helpers gifted 31 HIVE!

Here is the complete list of helpers and their donations:
@reiseamateur (11), @beststart (10), @coolmidwestguy (10).

A huge thank you to them all for their generosity! Show them some love by upvoting one of their recent posts.

As you know, the Power Up Helper badge is now a yearly thing. Here is the list of benefactors who got the so coveted Power Up Helper badge for this year:

Congratulations to @growandbow (4), @xuwi (4), @coolmidwestguy (2), @crptogeek (2), @jane1289 (2), @steevc (2), @alonicus, @arcange, @beststart, @chrislybear, @hyper.speed, @ifarmgirl, @jesuslnrs, @lipe100dedos, @michelmake, @pinkchic, @reiseamateur, @topkek420, @traciyork, @wittyzell, @xrayman.
(List by number of helpees)

This brings the number of helpers for this year to 21 users.

Remember that the number of people you are helping will significantly influence the delegation we will do to you.

Let's now take a look at how you did against the previous editions:

For this edition of our challenge we had 366 participants who powered up 40525.186 HIVE.

Let's now look at what happened with the distribution of power-ups:

Congrats to @stayoutoftherz (4200), @rapp (3588.54), @sjarvie5 (2060), @xiaoyaodidi (1073.761), @germansailor (1051.91), @abbak7 (1000.03), @bertrayo (1000), @claudio83 (1000), @condeas (1000), @ctrpch (1000), @web-gnar (1000).

They powered up at least 1000 HIVE and got the Jumbo-Bee badge.

Power Up Month is underway!

Don't forget that the Power Up Month Challenge now takes place every month.

If you participated in the Power Up Day, you are automatically "registered" for the PUM and can be rewarded with a delegation of Hive Power at the end of it if you pass the challenge.

See you on May 1st for the next PUD!

I'm always happy to see the Hive powerups, which always take me to new horizons. Thank you very much for giving a fair idea about power off with some wonderful rules and regulations.

I have a suggestion regarding LPUD (LEO Power Up Day).
As the price of LEO jumped quite high recently (in the last month or so), going from a previous average of 0.17-0.18 HIVE per 1 LEO up to the current 0.315 HIVE per 1 LEO (that's an increase of 75%), I believe the reconsideration of the current minimum of 150 LEO for powering-up to get the Hivebuzz's LPUD badge might be necessary.

In other words, by now, members would need to invest an average of 27 HIVE to buy 150 LEO, while now they need over 47 HIVE for the same 150 LEO.
In my opinion, 47 HIVE per month (to get the LPUD badge) would be a huge amount to allocate for many, for some maybe even entirely unachievable (not to mention the newcomers).

Please, think about it, and thank you in advance!

Hello @ana-maria,
Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion regarding the LEO Power Up Day (LPUD).
It's up to the Leo team to define the rules of their Power Up Day. We just implemented what they asked us.

Oh, I see! Sorry for addressing you and your team wrongly. I really didn't know.
However, thank you for the info! I'll try to talk with them.

I was in the Post Office queue yesterday when Diana Ross tried to push in.
I said “You can't hurry love, you'll just have to wait...”
