Channel Review [ESP/ENG]
I don't know if you're familiar with this YouTube channel, but since discovering it, I've become addicted. It's called "Te lo Resumo Así Nomás" (I'll Summarize It for You Just Like That), and as the name suggests, it's dedicated to analyzing and summarizing movies and TV series. But these aren't just summaries; they're not monotonous or empty. On the contrary, the channel owner and host is very charismatic and adds a lot of humor to each video, even including funny and recurring memes that spice things up. But the most important thing is that he doesn't overuse memes; he only uses them as a supporting element. He has a large number of videos and even sections where he analyzes entire movie or TV series sagas (by season).
No sé si ustedes conocen este canal de youtube, pero desde que lo descubrí me he vuelto adicto a él, se llama Te lo Resumo Así Nomás y se dedica, como su nombre lo indica, al análisis y resumen de películas y series de televisión, pero estos no son solo resúmenes, no están hechos de forma monótona y vacía sino todo lo contrario, el dueño del canal y conductor es muy carismático y le pone mucho humor a cada video, añadiendo incluso memes graciosos y recurrentes que le dan sazón a cada video, pero lo más importante es que no abusa de ese recurso, solo lo usa como apoyo. Tiene una gran cantidad de videos e incluso secciones donde se dedica a analizar sagas completas de películas o series (por temporadas)
Furthermore, it's clear that the person hosting the videos is a professional in the field: he always talks about resource management such as photography, camera angles, acting, techniques, in short, he's someone who knows very well what he's talking about. He's even a filmmaker because in several videos he promoted his own film, something I would have liked to see but I think it wasn't available outside of Argentina, the country of origin of the channel's host.
Además se nota que quien conduce los videos es un profesional en la materia: siempre habla de manejo de recursos como la fotografía, los planos, las actuaciones, las técnicas, en fin, es alguien que conoce muy bien de lo que está hablando, incluso es cineasta porque en varios videos estuvo promocionando su propia película, algo que me hubiese gustado ver pero creo que no estaba disponible fuera de Argentina, el país de origen del conductor del canal.
He almost never appears on camera, instead handling the voice-over, but his voice has so much charisma and personality that he simply doesn't need much of an introduction. He has his own style that makes him unique and special. He also uses his own catchphrases, like "and everything was starting to go relatively well until it started going relatively badly," or when a character dies, "Goodbye, we'll always remember you as..." (here he begins to narrate the character's qualities) and then finishes with "May the force be with you." And when there are fight scenes or chaos, he always uses a particular song: "One, two, ultra violent..." In short, I think it's these details that give the videos their flavor; he adds humor without overdoing it or abusing these devices.
El casi nunca aparece en cámara sino que maneja la voz en off, pero precisamente su voz tiene tanto carisma y personalidad que simplemente no le hace falta mayor presentación, tiene un estilo propio que lo hace único y especial, además también usa frases muy suyas como “y todo empezaba a marchar relativamente bien hasta que empezó a marchar relativamente mal” o cuando un personaje muere “Adiós, siempre te recordaremos como” (aquí empieza a narrar las cualidades del personaje) y después remata con “Que la fuerza te acompañe”. y cuando hay escenas de peleas o caos siempre usa una canción particular: “Uno, dos, ultra violento…” en fin, creo que son esos detalles los que le otorgan sazón a los videos, él les añade humor, pero sin saturar o abusar de estos recursos.
He has some really interesting videos that I haven't seen much of on channels like this, as they're very specific, such as "The Evolution of Zombies in the World of Cinema." In them, he explains where the concept originated and how it has evolved over the years, using several films that were fundamental to the industry and marked a turning point. Cinema is an art, and like all art, it requires study to perfect and improve it every day. It doesn't matter if the filmmaker is going to depict a story based on real life or fantasy; everything has a historical and cultural basis.
Tiene videos que son realmente interesantes y que he visto poco en canales de este tipo, ya que son muy específicos, como por ejemplo, “La evolución de los zombies en el mundo del cine” en ellos él explica de donde surgió el concepto y cómo ha evolucionado a través de los años, poniendo como ejemplo varias películas que fueron fundamentales en la industria y que marcaron un antes y un después. El cine es un arte y como todo arte requiere de estudios para perfeccionarlo y mejorarlo cada día más, da igual si el cineasta en cuestión va a representar una historia basada en la vida real o en la fantasía, todo tiene una base histórica y cultural.

How could you not know that channel!! It’s run by an Argentinean and my brother is a huge fan of it. He has a unique way of narrating and explaining films or topics; he’s really entertaining and, to be honest, he really does know a great deal about what he’s talking about. You can tell he’s passionate about cinema and that he’s watched loads of films. He shares historical facts and reviews, so there’s a lot of research behind every video he makes.
As you rightly say, he makes excellent use of resources, knows a lot about editing, and his videos are a testament to his wisdom and talent. You’ve written an excellent review of a great channel that I absolutely love! Thank you so much, big hugs!🤗

Me alegra mucho que te guste el canal, en efecto, es de un paisano tuyo, yo cada vez que puedo me paso por ese canal a ver si consigo alguna novedad, me gusta su estil y su forma de narrar, es muy dinámico y al final un a demás de divertirse termina aprendiendo bastante sobre cine, de hecho yo he descubierto que ahora al ver las películas me he vuelto más crítico.
