A remake/remaster of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas 2 is reportedly in the works. This doesn't surprise me at all, because just like with the first season of the series, a lot of people have returned or just discovered it for the first time (or played it, because some, like me, know the title but have never played it). And it's good, it's important to remember the good old games. We'll also get a special edition for the 15th anniversary of New Vegas... Time flies, I feel like the game came out a few years ago.

[Witcher 3]
Rumors are circulating that the new DLC will take place in Zerrikania. An interesting and unconventional choice. This land was mentioned in, I think, the first or second volume (I don't remember which volume Geralt encountered the Dragon in human form). An interesting and unconventional choice, as I was hoping for winter locations – Kaedwen, Kovir, Poviss. I'm happy about it; Zerrikania offers great opportunities for mechanic development, new types of quests, magic, talents... Overall, a good direction. I'd love to play.

[New StarCraft?]
No surprises. Microsoft has started milking the franchises it acquired. Apparently, they're going to release a shooter set in the StarCraft universe this year. I don't know about you, but I'm betting on a little more or less necrophilia. They'll scrape together what they can from the Ghost project, which has been canceled/forgotten several times (well, it's been quiet about it for a long time), and release it.

[Wolfenstein 3]
Although the last Wolfenstein was supposedly a failure (all my friends said so), that doesn't mean it's not worth making another installment. According to numerous sources, this one is in development. Will I play it? Probably not, and even if I do, I'll start with the earlier Blazkowicz installment, which is highly praised.

Podobno trwają prace nad remake / odświeżeniem 2 części Fallout 3 i Fallout: New Vegas. Absolutnie mnie to nie dziwi, bo tak jak przy 1 sezonie serialu, mnóstwo ludzi wróciło lub dopiero po raz 1 odkryło (lub zagrało, bo niektórzy jak ja znają ten tytuł, ale nigdy w niego nie grali). I dobrze, trzeba przypominać o starych dobrych grach. Dostaniemy też edycję specjalną z powodu 15-lecia New Vegas... Ale ten czas leci, mam wrażenie jakby gra pojawiła się kilka lat temu.

Krążą plotki, że akcja nowego DLC ma się odbywać w Zerrikani. Ciekawy i nieoczywisty wybór. Ta kraina została wspomniana już bodajże w 1 lub 2 tomie (nie pamiętam, w którym tomie Geralt spotkał się ze Smokiem w skórze człowieka). Ciekawy i nieoczywisty wybór, bo stawiałem na zimowe lokacje - Kaedwen, Kovir, Poviss. Ja się cieszę, Zerrikania daje duże możliwości do rozwoju mechanik, nowe typy questów, magii, talentów... Generalnie dobry kierunek. Chętnie zagram.

Zero zaskoczeń. Microsoft zaczął doić franczyzy, które nabył. Podobno w tym roku mają pokazać shootera w świecie StarCrafta. Nie wiem jak Wy, ale ja stawiam na mniejszą lub większą nekrofilię. Zeskrobią co się da z projektu Ghost, który był kilka razy kasowany / zapominany (no generalnie długo było cicho na jego temat) i wydadzą.

Co prawda ostatni Wolfenstein był podobno porażką (wszyscy moi znajomi tak mówili), ale to nie znaczy że nie warto tworzyć kolejnej części. Jak wynika z wielu różnych źródeł, ta powstaje. Czy zagram? Raczej nie, a nawet jeśli, to zacznę od wcześniejszej części z Blazkoviczem, która jest bardzo chwalona.

I takie wtrącenie na końcu. No to już wiemy, czemu scenariusz był dziurawy jak cholera. Bo sobie grali w Baldurs Gate 3. Ale żeby nie było, pomysł był naprawdę dobry, tylko wykonanie poniżej oczekiwań. Obejrzałem ten finał i czuję jedynie pustkę. Bracia Duffer trochę spartaczyli robotę.

When you wrote about Starcraft in the headline I was thinking exactly what you did in the blurb. I remember the scrapped Ghost project and honestly, what else could they do with a shooter. I suppose they could go all out awesome and make a Helldivers sort of thing and good lord that would be incredible. It's MS we are talking about here though, so they would never do something that difficult and awesome.

I think I'll write a post about StarCraft Ghosts, because I'm curious about the research on this game :D. If I remember correctly, most of the game is generally well-developed. Or at least its foundations are relatively stable. They'll run it through UE5, cut some, keep some, and improve others. Like you, I'm not counting on Microsoft's creativity. However, if they were to hire a good director (like the one from God of War 2018) who knows the StarCraft lore and masters a good script, there's a chance for a good game. StarCraft is still a strong brand among gamers.
