Marco (Review) [ESP/ENG]

Today I come to tell you about a series that I watched a lot during my adolescence but in fact I have seen it during every rebroadcast on TV over the years, and I have also searched for it on the internet because I like it very much. It is about Marco, the story of a boy who lives in Italy during the most critical years of the recession, although his father is a doctor, the family's salary is not enough to survive in those difficult times, also because Marco's father has a very good heart and his patients are very poor, so he does not charge them for the consultation, Marco's older brother went to another province to study and become a locomotive engineer, and his mother, in view of the difficult situation decides to take a boat and travel to Argentina to work and send money to his family. At first Marco takes this news with indignation and gets angry with his mother, but once he sees her leave he regrets and cries. Time passes and everything seems to be going well until suddenly they stop receiving news from Argentina, which is why Marco decides to travel there, but when he arrives in the South American country someone steals all his savings and obviously this makes the boy's journey much more difficult. From that moment on, we see the protagonist of the story tirelessly searching for his mother throughout that nation among locals and Italian immigrants, since it seems that she has constantly moved.
Hoy les vengo a hablar de una serie que yo vi mucho durante mi adolescencia pero en realidad la he visto durante cada retransmisión en la Tv a lo largo de los años, y también la he buscado por internet porque me gusta muchísimo. Se trata de Marco, la historia de un niño que vive en Italia durante los años más críticos de la recesión, aunque su padre es médico, a la familia no le alcanza el sueldo para sobrevivir en esos tiempos difíciles, además porque el padre de Marco tiene muy buen corazón y sus pacientes son muy pobres, así que él no les cobra la consulta, el hermano mayor de Marco se fue a otra provincia para estudiar y volverse maquinista de locomotoras, y su madre, en vista de la difícil situación decide tomar un barco y viajar hasta Argentina para trabajar y poder enviar dinero a su familia. Al inicio Marco toma esta noticia con indignación y se enoja con su madre, pero una vez que la ve partir se arrepiente y llora. El tiempo pasa y todo parece marchar bien hasta que de pronto dejan de recibir noticias desde Argentina, razón por la cuál Marco toma la decisión de viajar hasta allá, pero cuando llega al país suramericano alguien le roba todos sus ahorros y obviamente esto dificulta mucho más la travesía del niño. A partir de ese momento vemos al protagonista de la historia buscar incansablemente a su madre por toda esa nación entre locales e inmigrantes italianos, ya que al parecer ella se mudó constantemente.
As you can see Marco is an old series, from the same era and I think the same creator as Heidi, however it keeps a very particular style that invites nostalgia, so much so that it has become a classic, which has allowed many generations to enjoy the story, although it is not as recognized and acclaimed as Heidi.
Como se pueden dar cuenta Marco es una serie antigua, de la misma época y creo que el mismo creador que Heidi, no obstante guarda un estilo muy particular que invita a la nostalgia, tanto que se ha vuelto un clásico, lo que ha permitido que muchas generaciones disfrutaran de la historia, aunque no es tan reconocido y aclamado como lo es Heidi.
Marco's story is different, perhaps a bit exaggerated in some aspects, such as the fact that such a small child travels without the company of an adult, but we must also take into account that childhood at that time was very different from today, especially when living in a country with such a precarious economy. What I like most about Marco is that, without leaving behind his essence as a child, his naivety and innocence, he knows very well how to make decisions, he doesn't get discouraged in the face of adversity and above all, he fights and works hard for what he wants, so the series is an example of perseverance.
La historia de Marco es diferente, quizá un tanto exagerada en algunos aspectos, como en el hecho de que un niño tan pequeño viaje sin compañía de un adulto, pero también debemos tomar en cuenta que la infancia de aquella época era muy diferente a la de ahora, sobre todo cuando se vivía en un país con una economía tan precaria. Lo que más me gusta de Marco es que, sin dejar atrás su esencia de niño, su ingenuidad e inocencia, sabe muy bien como tomar decisiones, no se amilana ante la adversidad y sobre todo, lucha y trabaja duro por lo que quiere, así que la serie es un ejemplo de perseverancia.
I really like the landscapes that can be appreciated on screen, both European and South American. This story is mainly about a very long journey through which our protagonist can see multiple scenarios ranging from mountains to the sea, then urban areas in large cities and again rugged areas in the countryside, it is really very nice, but at the same time I also like the cultural exchange that is seen throughout the series and that illustrates that important event that was the mass immigration of people from the European continent to the countries of America.
Me gusta mucho los paisajes que se pueden apreciar en pantalla, tanto los europeos como los suramericanos. Esta historia trata sobre todo de un viaje muy largo a través del cual nuestro protagonista puede ver múltiples escenarios que van desde montañas hasta el mar, luego zonas urbanas en grandes ciudades y de nuevo zonas agrestes en el campo, de verdad es muy lindo, pero a la vez también me gusta ese intercambio cultural que se aprecia a lo largo de toda la serie y que nos ilustra sobre ese evento tan importante que fue la inmigración en masa de personas desde el continente europeo hacia los países de América.

Shame on me as an Italian I didn't watch this anime maybe because it's old well I must search for it.
Marcó is one of the most surprising and captivating classics there is. The magic and the frame values are incredible. Especially his desire to be reunited with his mother in the great Argentina.
From the screenshots itself, I can see its likeness to the anime of the past including Heidi. The plot seems interesting. I think the story itself is great according to what I've read from you. Perseverance as theme is nice. I could remember when I was young, the films I've watched have moral lesson in them, making you reflective and inspired after watching. This seems to be one of those films.
