Attack On Titan 4 Review: The Time Jump.

Attack on Titan is a well-known anime and one thing I love about it is how the storyline was written. Sometimes it feels like it was written from the ending of the anime to the beginning; only people who have finished this anime can understand. Attack on Titan is a masterpiece and the whole world has accepted this fact. From the first season to the third season, we all saw the story of the people within the wall as they did their best to reclaim the bridge walls and their encounter with the Beast Titan, Cart Titan, and other kinds of Titans.

The fourth season of Attack on Titan took a different turn.

At the end of the third season, we saw that the people who didn't know of any technology like telephones, cars, planes, and so on were able to make it to the sea for the first time in their lives. Eren and his friends were able to fight against hundreds of

Titans, reclaim his home and discover the world's secret through his father's journal. It was at that moment they discovered they were enemies to people they don't even know exist, and many people have been trying to kill them for crimes they don't know of.

The beginning of the fourth season was something else. There was a time jump, and the first thing we saw was people in war, using machine guns, missiles, and so on. At first, I thought I had downloaded the wrong anime, but I did not. It was just a time jump. So many things have happened between the end of the third season and the fourth season.

The beginning of the fourth season gave many viewers a shock because the last time we watched Attack on Titan, we only saw people riding on horses and not in cars, fighting with swords and not guns, but as the anime progressed, I was able to realize that there was a time jump, not from primitive times to advanced times, but there have always been people with more advanced technology.

One thing I loved about the protagonist (Eren) was that he tried to understand his enemies; he slept under the same roof as them, fought their war, and realized that these people were taught to hate them, even though they had no choice. The painful part was that the people who have the same bloodline as them also hate them for reasons that were instilled into their heads.

Honestly, I believe Eren wouldn't have done what he wanted to do if the people of the world hadn't declared war on Paradise Island.

The anime studio that worked on season 4 did a very good job of bringing the manga to life. Attack on Titan is one of the anime that stick entirely to what happened in the manga.

The graphic was nice, and every action and word said by each character has a meaning. I love that the studio stuck with the manga and didn't change any of the story.

In Conclusion

Attack on Titan is an anime of the century and will always be among the best anime that was ever been produced. I haven't seen an anime with this kind of story except for Naruto and Bleach. If you haven't watched it, I hope you give it a try because this is highly recommended by me to you.

Thanks for reading.

AOT is one of the best anime I have seen. Season 4 was…well, it was excellent. They took a very big leap… we started seeing different things like cars. The deaths in chapter 4 really crushed my heart.

Yeah when I saw plane and car I was shocked and the first death we got in season 4 was Sasha and I loved her

Whatever Eren did it was right, I am always on his side. No one can change mind I really like him and Mikasa! Great review, I really like your point of view.

Yeah
I’m also on his side
How will I watch a world I know nothing about hate me and destroy me and not fight back because of a history I know nothing about

I agree that it is a very well written story, in fact I think that many did not understand the end of the manga, in fact I had a hard time for a moment until I reread and analyzed it to understand it. But it is honestly very good.

It was a very good show and yes, one need to analyze the ending for them to be able to understand
Thanks for the comment

Spot on!

One of the greatest reasons why I became a strong anime fan is how they make you see how the world truly works in a way.

You catch yourself actually supporting the antagonist cos you get to see the world through his lens and not just that of the protagonist as most movies do, they only paint a one sided story line but with anime you get a wholesome view.

I remember when I first watched Attack on Titan as recommended by my younger sister, I didn't watch any anime for close to a month. That time jump got me confused too I won't lie but I eventually got a hang of it.

You asked why I didn't watch any other anime? Well, because every other anime at that time looked like a joke to me. But well, I got over it eventually. 😅

For someone who has seen both Naruto and Bleach... I strongly recommend both.

Thank you so much for sharing this nicely articulated piece of art with us.

You have said it all well and that’s how it is. After AOT, I found other anime boring in a way but I also got over it

Wow, I totally agree with your analysis! The same thing happened to me at the beginning of Season 4—I thought I'd chosen the wrong series! Hahaha. That jump and change of perspective was brilliant; it suddenly puts you in the "enemy's" shoes.

And what you say about it seeming written from the very end is very true. When you finish it and rewatch the beginning, every conversation, every glance... everything takes on a new meaning. It's crazy. For me, Eren's journey is one of the most tragic and complex things I've ever seen. Understanding his motives but not being able to justify his actions... wow, it leaves you thinking for days.

Yeah
This was exactly how I felt when I watch it and rewatch it
The anime is standing as my most liked anime
