¿Sabes qué son las novelas visuales? Son unos juegos que cuentan historias con una cierta interacción con el jugador. En Japón se produjeron de todo tipo, pero unas enfocadas en el bishoujo(chicas anime bonitas) tuvieron un boom en los 90’s y a inicios del milenio. Este anime nos cuenta un poco de lo que fue esa época mezclandolo con una historia de viajes en el tiempo. Se estrenó el 2023, desarrollada por Studio Silver, siendo su director Takashi Sakuma.
Do you know what visual novels are? They are games that tell stories with a certain interaction with the player. In Japan there were produced all kinds, but some focused on bishoujo (pretty anime girls) had a boom in the 90's and at the beginning of the millennium. This anime tells us a bit of what that era was like, mixing it with a time travel story. It was released in 2023, developed by Studio Silver, being its director Takashi Sakuma.
Sinopsis: Konoha Akisato es una joven que trabaja en una empresa de videojuegos. Para su pesar, el trabajo que realiza es repetitivo y muy lejos de sus pretensiones, ella desea crear un buen juego bishoujo en la actualidad. Es en un día en una tienda extraña, que adquiere diversos juegos bishoujos clásicos, y al abrir uno ocurre lo increíble. Ella será transportada a 1992, desde ese momento tratará de volver a su época mientras interactúa con los empleados de una compañía de juegos bishoujo.
Synopsis: Konoha Akisato is a young woman who works in a video game company. To her regret, the work she does is repetitive and far from her pretensions, she wishes to create a good bishoujo game in the present day. It is on a day in a strange store, that she acquires several classic bishoujo games, and when she opens one, the unbelievable happens. She will be transported back to 1992, from that moment on she will try to go back to her time while interacting with the employees of a bishoujo game company.
La premisa ya nos hace una idea de lo que vamos a encontrar, y es que al ser un tema nicho, bastante de lo que se muestra es divulgación del tema, sobre cómo se realizaba un juego bishoujo en los 90’s, entre ello: los programas, el staff, las innovaciones, etc.
The premise already gives us an idea of what we will find, and is that being a niche topic, much of what is shown is disclosure of the subject, on how a bishoujo game was made in the 90's, including: programs, staff, innovations, etc.
Por otro lado, tenemos la historia de viajes en el tiempo, en donde nuestra protagonista Meiko se verá en una trama que se volverá enredada según avance los capítulos. Incluso dejando buenos momentos dramáticos. A pesar de ser solo 13 capítulos logran cerrar la historia.
On the other hand, we have the story of time travel, where our protagonist Meiko will find herself in a plot that will become entangled as the chapters progress. Even leaving good dramatic moments. Despite being only 13 chapters, they manage to close the story.
Los personajes son interesantes pero salvo los dos principales, tienen poco desarrollo. El trayecto final es un tanto extraño, pero tiene su originalidad.
The characters are interesting but except for the two main ones, they have little development. The final journey is a bit strange, but it has its originality.
La animación no es su punto fuerte, si bien es aceptable creo que pudieron sacarle más partido a este apartado. Se juega mucho con la exageración con la protagonista, en su voz original tiene una voz muy chillona, esto puede no gustar a todos. El opening y ending creo que se disfrutan.
The animation is not its strong point, although it is acceptable I think they could have made more out of this section. It plays a lot with exaggeration with the protagonist, in her original voice she has a very shrill voice, this may not please everyone. The opening and ending I think are enjoyable.
Una trama que a pesar de tener momentos bien irreales, no deja de entretener y mostrar un tema de nicho interesante. Si te gustan las novelas visuales bishoujo, debes darle una oportunidad.
A plot that despite having some very unrealistic moments, it still entertains and shows an interesting niche theme. If you like bishoujo visual novels, you should give it a chance.

Las tramas de viaje en el tiempo están de moda ahora. Me llama la atención que no sea tan lejano; es decir, que no se fue a dos siglos y se mantiene en el XX. Lástima que no compacte por completo, pero debe tener lo suyo.
Debo decir que el anime comenzó bien, la trama iba bien, pero... casi al final todo se volvió raro, muy raro, hasta pensé que me había saltado algún episodio jajajaj. En algo que sí difiero de la reseña, es que dices que a la animación le falto, y la verdad es que he visto peores animaciones con más fama que este y son iguales de actuales. pero como dice el dicho, para gustos, colores 😁
