Gamera: Rebirth/ Review [ENG-SPA]
Among the benefits or attractions of streaming channels, is that they constantly bring us news and at least one draws our attention, last week, I saw what in theory will be the first season of an anime that revives in character, which is a Kaiju this anime made me remember a series that I loved and was famous during my childhood Ultraman, here are my impressions of the first season of:
Gamera: Rebirth
If you saw Titans of the Pacific or Ultraman you know that the Kaijus are monsters or giant beasts, you already have an idea of the plot of this anime, this focuses on friendship, three Japanese children, who have spent a good time collecting money to buy a radio and thus be able to stay in communication, even being far away, they stumble upon a teenager of American origin who is with his military father in Japan and this along with his friends harass them and manage to take the money.
These three children, prior to this, had an encounter with a turtle that was trapped in a well near their hideout, they notice that it is not like any other they had seen before, besides being very big, but they free it and let it go.
The three children, trying to recover their money, are in the middle of a disaster, as some kaiju have gotten out of control and are in the city wreaking havoc, these little monsters as they are devouring people and other smaller kaiju are increasing in size, thus trying to escape and when all seems lost appears a giant turtle that faces this kaiju and the children manage to escape.
As I already mentioned, this anime brings back a character from 1965, Gamera, obviously with effects that at that time did not exist or were totally different from the current ones.
Now, what I liked about the series: the friendship between these children was very, very close, even being so different, they supported each other in everything even if their parents did not want it, they sincerely appreciated each other and fought to stay together and keep their friendship, I like the idea of a good Kaiju, or rather another one, who fights for humans especially for children and even being overcome, mutilated, poisoned and others, he gets up and continues, the animation in many aspects is very good, as well as the music, especially the opening.
What I didn't like is that the turtle seems to have extreme abilities and sometimes I think they went too far with the way they presented those abilities or powers, but that's exactly what reminded me of Ultraman, the exaggeration of the situation, for example, when flying it looks like a spaceship with thrusters, that is, some of the effects that they added to the turtle's abilities are exaggerated, The animation is good, but sometimes in some scenes it seemed to me that certain movements or scenes were out of date, maybe it's my idea, remember that I use glasses and sometimes it makes us see things differently or not appreciate others, the animation has a 3D inclination or that has been my impression.
Likewise, the plot is interesting because you discover the origin of Gamera and what is the purpose of the kaijus, besides that group of children has a special role in the whole game that is developing, especially one of them, you can also appreciate some humans who consider themselves superior and rightfully want to decide the fate of humanity, according to them in search of a greater welfare. Does this seem familiar?
For its part, the end, although a little sad, lets us know that there will be more and that a new season of this character and these children will come, in which perhaps we will know more about how this plan originated, since only the tip of the iceberg was seen.
In short, if you want to spend some time watching a different anime, then opt for this one that has six chapters in its first season of Gamera: Rebirth.
Entre los benéficos o atractivos de los canales streaming, se encuentra el que constantemente nos traen novedades y al menos una llama nuestra atención, la semana pasada, vi lo que en teoría será la primera temporada de un anime que revive en personaje, el cual es un Kaiju este anime me hizo recordar una serie que ame y que fue famosa durante mi infancia Ultraman, aquí les dejo mis impresiones de la primera temporada de:
Gamera: Renacimiento
Sí vieron Titanes del Pacífico o Ultraman saben que los Kaijus son monstruos o bestias gigantes, ya por allí tienen una idea de la trama de este anime, esta se centra en la amistad, tres niños japoneses, que han pasado un buen tiempo reuniendo un dinero para comprar una radio y así poder mantenerse comunicados, aun estando lejos, ellos tropiezan con un adolescente de origen estadounidense que está con su padre militar en Japón y este junto a sus amigos los acosan y logran quitarles el dinero.
Estos tres niños, previo a esto, tuvieron un encuentro con una tortuga que estaba atrapada en un pozo cerca de su escondite, ellos notan que no es parecida a alguna otra que vieran antes, además de ser muy grande, pero la liberan y la dejan ir.
Los tres niños, al intentar recuperar su dinero, quedan en medio de un desastre, ya que unos kaijus se han salido de control y están en la ciudad haciendo estragos, estos pequeños monstruos a medida que van devorando personas y a otros kaijus más pequeños van aumentando de tamaño, así tratando de escapar y cuando todo parece perdido aparece una tortuga gigante que se enfrenta a este kaiju y los niños logran escapar.
Como ya mencioné, este anime trae de vuelta a un personaje del año 1965, Gamera, obviamente con efectos que en aquel momento no existían o eran totalmente diferentes a los actuales.
Ahora bien, que me gusto de la serie: la amistad entre estos niños era muy, muy unidos, aun siendo tan diferentes, se apoyaban en todo aunque sus padres no lo quisieran, ellos se apreciaban sinceramente y lucharon por mantenerse juntos y conservar su amistad, me gusta la idea de un Kaiju bueno, o mejor dicho otro, que lucha por los seres humanos especialmente por los niños y aun siendo superado, mutilado, envenenado y demás, se levanta y continua, la animación en muchos aspectos está muy buena, al igual que la música, sobre todo el opening.
Lo que no me agrado la tortuga parece tener habilidades extremas y a veces creo se excedieron con la manera de presentar esas habilidades o poderes, pero eso justamente es lo que me hizo recordar a Ultraman lo exagerado de la situación, pues por ejemplo, al volar parece una nave espacial con propulsores, es decir algunos de los efectos que agregaron a las habilidades de la tortuga son exagerados, igual que otras escenas que plantean situaciones un tanto imposibles, edemas de que los niños siempre están en medio de todo y apenas se lastiman, la aminación es buena, pero a veces ten algunas escenas me parecía que ciertos movimientos o escenas que estaban desfasados tal vez es idea mía, recuerden que uso anteojos y a veces nos hace ver las cosas diferentes o no apreciar otras, la animación tiene inclinación algo en 3D o esa ha sido mi impresión.
Así mismo, la trama es interesante porque vas descubriendo el origen de Gamera y cuál es el propósito de los kaijus, además de ese grupo de niños tiene un rol especial en todo el juego que se está desarrollando, en especial uno de ellos, también se aprecia algunos seres humanos que se consideran superiores y con derecho quieren decidir el destino de la humanidad, según ellos en busca de un bienestar mayor. ¿Esto les parece conocido?
Por su parte, el final, aunque un poco triste, nos deja saber que habrá más y que vendrá una nueva temporada de este personaje y estos niños, en la cual tal vez sepamos más de cómo se originó este plan, ya que solo se vio la punta de iceberg.
En resumen, si deseas pasar un rato viendo un anime diferente, pues optar por este que tiene seis capítulos en su primera temporada de Gamera: Renacimiento.
Qué película más interesante Pero es verdad ni siquiera todos los kaillous que se presenten pueden vencer al poderoso Godzilla.
Hola mi querido amigo, hasta hoy me doy cuenta de que no te había respondido discúlpame, resulta ser que por lo que investigue luego, esta tortuga fu como una introducción para lo que sería luego la llegada de Godzilla, te recomiendo ver esta serie, creo que la disfrutarás, algunas escenas son muy embusteras, hablando en el más puro criollo, pero recordemos que cuando hablamos de Kaijus eso está a la orden del día.
