YOU SEASON 5 || BINGE-WORTHY OR NOT?
Hello, You...
A little birde might have told you that the fifth season of the Netflix series 'YOU' was released less than 24 hours ago. Not just that—this is the grand finale. The last time we’ll ever see Joe Goldberg in action. Exhilarating, satisfying... or disappointing?

Wait, I do have an interesting question:
Are you team 'Joe should get away with all of it' or 'Joe should rot in hell'?? 😂
Chill, I am not here to give you spoilers, actually. I'm just going to share my two cents whether this last season is worth your time or not. Maybe its even binge-worthy? You can't tell... but I can. So, let's just get into it.
So, I spent the most of my day watching the season finale of the Netflix's YOU series—so don't be suprised when I say I finished it already. Yupp, I binge-watched the entire thing! And was it worth it? It was, guys. It really wasa and I wasn't even expecting it to be that good.

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect in this final season, considering where the last one ended. I actually had to rewatch the final episode of season 4 to refresh my memory. Remember? Joe tried to unalive himself in that episode, but was rescued—and Kate, his new love interest stood by him. He confessed parts of his dark self to her, and with the influence and money that kate's family had, he was able to go back to being Joe Goldberg—not Professor Moore anymore. He was given a fresh start, a new perspective and he could finally return home to NYC.
The big question then and now is that:
What will he do with this new life that the universe has given him?
Now, if you haven’t even seen the series up to Season 4... what are you doing?! 😭. You’ve just walked into an accidental spoiler and that’s on you, because I assumed we were all waiting for Season 5 together, lol.
Anyway, get up to speed and catch up with us—we can't wait. I feel like I’ve digressed a bit, so let’s get back to... you.
So, generally yeah?
I'd say that for me, Joe wasn't the kind of 'main character villian' I was exactly rooting for (like in money heist), but I didn't hate him either. It's complicated. He did really awful and horrible things but I didn't want him to be caught just yet. At the same time, I constantly wondered if he'd ever pay for everything that he had done.
Watching the show from Joe's point of view is very exhausting, he had a sad and painful childhood. Also, he'd come up with these convincing and twisted reason for his actions and sometimes, you could almost find yourself agreeing with him or even rooting for him in some moments. He was hard to dislike completely, don't you agree?
He was like the protagonist and antagonist at the same time, he was just...sick, or twisted. If you have a better word to qualify him, I'd appreciate you sharing it with me. Because I cannot find a word to qualify this man, Joe Goldberg.

Now to my honest review of the season finale;
It is so good, I wasn't expecting so much but I got way moree, way more than season 4. The plot was strong, the suspense was sharp and it didn't seem rushed at all—I was glued to my screen. Sure, there were few loopholes but they can actually be forgiven, I genuinely think it is worth watching. I won't say more so I don't spoil it for you but seriously—just go watch it
And...
Goodbye, You.
You know what? Heck, yeah. You know I heard rumours that everything went off track from season 4, and I shouldn't bother seeing it, so I stopped at season 3. But I guess I shouldn't have taken that advice. One of the craziest series I've seen so far is this one, and I guess that will be the perfect way to end my holiday. Thank YOU!🌺🫂
Lol, so many people have a lot of say about the fourth season and it wasn't even that bad, the plot was just different. They were trying to make us see how crazy and sick he is in the head. But this 5th season, so good!
se ve interesante, buen post!
looks interesting, good post!
Thank you so much!
At the beginning I was really hooked by this series. I liked it quite a bit until the second season, but from the third season onwards it started to decline for me. I feel like it was over stretched and should have ended when Joe found his psycho better half Love.
I'll probably watch some of this season to find out how this story ends.
Good review.
Cheers.
