¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo la reseña de la segunda temporada de The Last of Us. Estaba esperando que terminará para verla completa, así que aproveche este finde para ponerme con ella y maratonear.

Hello friends! Today I bring you the review of the second season of The Last of Us. I was waiting for it to finish to watch it in full, so I took advantage of this weekend to get to it and marathon it.

Esta segunda temporada sigue los acontecimientos vividos en la anterior, 5 años después de haber llegado a Jackson, Joel y Ellie están distanciados por las mentiras y las promesas rotas. Ambos tienen un pasado en común que vendrá a llamar a sus puertas y nuevos peligros que enfrentar, como Abby, que busca a Joel para vengarse de la muerte de su padre. Esto generará un ciclo de venganzas que parece arrastrar a todos a su paso. Mientras el cordyceps sigue evolucionando a formas más inteligentes y difíciles de vencer.

This second season follows the events lived in the previous one, 5 years after arriving in Jackson, Joel and Ellie are estranged by lies and broken promises. Both have a common past that will come knocking on their doors and new dangers to face, as Abby, who seeks Joel to take revenge for the death of his father. This will generate a cycle of revenge that seems to drag everyone in its path. As the cordyceps continues to evolve into more intelligent and difficult to defeat forms.

Una segunda temporada muy esperada después de la vara alta que dejó la primera. Me estoy encontrando con que a muchos les disgustó esta temporada, pero yo la disfruté mucho. Había empezado a verla el día de su estreno, vi el primer capítulo y me pareció acertado, que seguía la línea del videojuego bastante bien. Después, les confieso, no tuve el valor de seguir mirando lo que sabía que iba a ocurrir. Así que dejé que avanzará con los estrenos de los caps y al final decidí mirarlos todos juntos.

A long awaited second season after the high bar set by the first. I'm finding that many people disliked this season, but I enjoyed it a lot. I had started watching it the day of its premiere, I saw the first chapter and I thought it was successful, that it followed the line of the videogame quite well. Afterwards, I confess, I didn't have the courage to continue watching what I knew was going to happen. So I let it move forward with the premieres of the chapters and in the end I decided to watch them all together.

Creo que fue una buena manera, a veces se necesita maratonear tranquila sin perderle el hilo a la trama. Mi percepción es que a partir del capítulo 4 en adelante repuntó un montón. En el 4 se empezó a ver más acción y el 5 fue una locura hermosa. Me encantan esos momentos tensos en los que todo puede pasar. El capítulo 6 me mato, y el 7 tuvo un buenísimo cierre.

I think it was a good way, sometimes you need to marathon quietly without losing the thread of the plot. My perception is that from chapter 4 onwards it picked up a lot. In 4 you started to see more action and 5 was beautifully crazy. I love those tense moments where anything can happen. Chapter 6 killed me, and chapter 7 had a great ending.

Para mí estuvo muy buena esta temporada, tuvo un poco de todo, me reí, me emocioné y me enojé, aunque ya sabía qué esperar por el videojuego. También sé que cambiaron algunos detalles y dejaron otras cosillas afuera, pero para mí estuvo okey. Tuvo más explicaciones y necesitaban hilar mejor lo que iba pasando con las mismas cinemáticas propias del videojuego. Creo que lo resolvieron lo mejor posible y no me disgustaron para nada los cambios.

For me this season was very good, it had a little bit of everything, I laughed, I got excited and I got angry, although I already knew what to expect from the video game. I also know that they changed some details and left some other little things out, but for me it was ok. It had more explanations, and they needed to better thread what was going on with the game's own cinematics. I think they solved it the best they could and I didn't dislike the changes at all.

Yo estaba ahí, compenetrada con lo que estaba mirando y al final eso es lo que vale, que tenga la capacidad de atraparte y mantenerte enganchada con lo que está sucediendo. Ahora bien, me imagino lo que se viene y me disgusto un poco ese final tan abrupto. Necesito que no la vayan a cancelar porque no me pueden haber dejado con ese final sin saber cómo sigue todo. Lo que más me emociona de ver adaptaciones son los posibles cambios que vayan surgiendo, así que podría decir que ya sé lo que pasará, pero ¿realmente lo sé? Hasta que no lo vea no lo sabré. Así que espero que haya más temporadas.

I was there, engaged with what I was watching and in the end that's what counts, that it has the ability to grab you and keep you hooked with what is happening. Now, I imagine what's coming and I'm a little upset about the abrupt ending. I need them not to cancel it because they can't have left me with that ending without knowing how it all goes on. What excites me the most about watching adaptations are the possible changes that are coming up, so I could say I already know what will happen, but do I really know? Until I see it I won't know. So I hope there will be more seasons.

No tengo quejas en cuanto a actuaciones, eso sí, no deja de impactarme lo iguales que me parecieron las actrices de Dina y Abby a sus respectivos personajes, era una cosa impresionante. La verdad que me encantó este detalle, y no, no estoy para nada en contra de Bella Ramsey como Ellie a pesar de no parecerse en nada físicamente porque para mí ella es excelente. Ni que decir de Pedro Pascal como Joel, lo voy a llorar toda la vida más o menos, sí, así de exagerada jajaja.

I have no complaints in terms of performances, but I am still shocked by how similar the actresses of Dina and Abby seemed to me to their respective characters, it was an impressive thing. I really loved this detail, and no, I am not at all against Bella Ramsey as Ellie despite not looking anything physically because for me she is excellent. Not to say about Pedro Pascal as Joel, I'm going to cry him all my life more or less, yes, so exaggerated hahaha.

Sin más que agregar, es una serie que recomiendo un montón. Si no viste la primera temporada te invito a hacerlo y si ya la viste, espero que estés disfrutando de esta segunda temporada también.
