Another Yellowstone spin-off has premiered. We have to squeeze every last drop out of it. I've seen two episodes and I'm hooked. Marshalls, a Yellowstone story, is the only spin-off that hasn't won me over, because they've given it a somewhat procedural style. It has action and works as entertainment, but it's not my cup of tea. Besides, Kayce was never my favorite Yellowstone character.

On the other hand, Beth Dutton was my favorite character from the original series, along with Rip, so I was more interested in them continuing with these characters and the Duttons' adventures, without the ranch and the land they protected so vehemently. By the way, in Kayce's series, I think it was a mistake to eliminate his wife's character.

The Duttons will be plagued with problems, no doubt about it. Besides, if there are no problems, there's no story to tell. This agent will never have peace. The opening sequence shows us what forces Beth, Rip, and Carter to move to Texas, where they buy a ranch.

By a twist of fate, the three members of the family will encounter some members of the Jackson family, a powerful clan whose ranch and control of those lands date back 190 years. The central figure of this family, who is their counterpart, is Beulah Jackson, a woman very similar to each of the Dutton leaders.

If we look at it from another perspective, setting aside the affection we, as viewers, feel for the Duttons, these Jacksons are actually doing the same thing the Duttons did in Montana. Let's not forget that the Duttons had their mafia ways, and if that meant killing, dumping bodies on a mountain, and eliminating whoever was their enemy, that's what they did. The Jacksons are the same, only they are the villains because they will face Beth and Rip.

Beth will not only have to adapt to the Texas heat; she will have to show her most dangerous side. This woman is dangerous, so Beulah Jackson surely has some surprises in store. Of course, one of the Jacksons is a real villain, the typical obsessive-compulsive type who can't control himself, wanting to beat and kill everyone. His character is named Rob-Will, and he's played by Jai Courtney. I hope they don't give him much screen time and that they kill him off, because Courtney playing him is a clear sign that he's going to hell. I've never liked this actor, but since he played the villain in the movie Dangerous Animals, my opinion of him has changed a bit.

I'm happy to see the Colombian actor Juan Pablo Raba playing Joaquín, Rob-Will's brother and, apparently, the mastermind behind this new clan. He's a very popular actor in my country, since he lived here many years ago and starred in telenovelas for quite some time. Many telenovelas were made in my country before socialism destroyed even the audiovisual industry. So far, his character has convinced me; he's doing a good job.

Carter is your typical teenage cowboy, a bit of a clown, but I know he won't hesitate when it comes to wielding a gun. That's why Beth and Rip raised him. Of course, his role is the one that bothers me the most, because he ends up involved with none other than Rob-Will's daughter. So, as the season progresses, things are going to get increasingly explosive, or at least I hope so.

I liked what I saw and I'll watch the whole thing. It has potential; I want to see more of the Duttons' adventures. If it gets good ratings, they'll probably get a second season, because it seems like Yellowstone is here to stay.

No olvidemos que los Dutton tenían sus costumbres mafiosas, y si eso significaba matar, arrojar cadáveres en una montaña y eliminar a quien fuera su enemigo, eso era lo que hacían. Los Jackson son iguales, solo que son los villanos porque se enfrentarán a Beth y Rip.

Beth no solo tendrá que adaptarse al calor de Texas; Tendrá que mostrar su lado más peligroso. Esta mujer es peligrosa, así que Beulah Jackson seguramente tendrá algunas sorpresas reservadas. Claro, uno de los Jackson es un verdadero villano, el típico que vaga por el mundo obsesivamente y no puede controlarse, queriendo golpear y matar a todo el mundo. Su personaje se llama Rob-Will, y lo interpreta Jai ​​Courtney. Espero que no le den mucho tiempo en pantalla y que lo maten, porque que Courtney lo interprete es una clara señal de que irá al infierno. Nunca me ha gustado este actor, pero desde que interpretó al villano en la película Animales Peligrosos, mi opinión sobre él ha cambiado un poco.

Me alegra ver al actor colombiano Juan Pablo Raba interpretando a Joaquín, el hermano de Rob-Will y, al parecer, el cerebro detrás de este nuevo clan. Es un actor muy popular en mi país, ya que vivió aquí hace muchos años y protagonizó telenovelas durante bastante tiempo. Muchas telenovelas se hicieron en mi país antes de que el socialismo destruyera incluso la industria audiovisual. Hasta ahora, su personaje me ha convencido; está haciendo un buen trabajo.

Carter es el típico vaquero adolescente, un poco payaso, pero sé que no le temblará la mano cuando se trata de empuñar un arma. Por eso lo criaron Beth y Rip. Claro que su papel es el que más me molesta, porque terminará involucrado nada menos que con la hija de Rob-Will. Así que, a medida que avance la temporada, todo se pondrá cada vez más explosivo, o al menos eso espero.

Me gustó lo que vi y la veré completa. Tiene potencial; quiero ver más aventuras de los Dutton. Si tiene buena audiencia, es muy probable que aprueben una segunda temporada, porque parece que Yellowstone llegó para quedarse.
