Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros espaciales del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, hace bastante tiempo el querido @soltecno me recomendó la serie "Space Adventure Cobra" pero como me olvidó de casi todo, hasta ahora es que me dispuse a verla y a reseñarla. Sin más que agregar prepárense para usar una psicoarma pues estamos por comenzar.
Space Adventure Cobra was released in 1982, it is based on the manga of the same name by Buichi Terasawa, the animation was directed by Osamu Dezaki and Yoshio Takeuchi, produced by TMS Entertainment, it has a total of 31 episodes. Narrativamente no hay mucho, la serie es bastante simple en este particular debido a que se orienta a ser estilo sobre sustancia, sigue mayormente la fórmula de villano de la semana siendo pocas las veces cuando aparece un némesis interesante, además, hay algunos capítulos que son bastante meh puesto que su premisa es demasiado genérica, afortunadamente, estos últimos escasean por lo que en líneas generales la serie es digerible.
Nothing to highlight, all the characters are forgettable and lack any kind of characterization that makes them relevant, I will focus only on Cobra since he is the one who spends the most time on screen, despite the above mentioned it can be taken out that he is an unknown, at no time is he or his motivations deepened, he simply poses himself as an outlaw who thwarts the mafia's plans because he does not like the bad actions they commit. The deaths are something very unimportant, the series tries to make the viewer feel empathy for characters they have just met just by seeing them dead; The lack of exploration of these, their reduced screen time and their premature death mean that they lack the importance that they want to give them. Something similar happens to the antagonists, they are very empty and lack something that gives them a minimum of personality, the only one who attracts attention is Crystal Bowie because she is the one who manages to put the protagonist in trouble on more than one occasion, relentless in his actions and has an excellent presence, The rest are very forgettable, including the "final boss".
Nada que destacar, todos los personajes son olvidables y carecen de cualquier clase de caracterización que los haga relevantes, me enfocaré únicamente en Cobra puesto que es el que más tiempo pasa en pantalla, pese a lo anterior mencionado se puede sacar en limpio que es un desconocido, en ningún momento se profundiza en este ni en sus motivaciones, simplemente se plantea como un forajido que frustra los planes de la mafia porque no le gusta las malas acciones que estos cometen. Las muertes son algo muy poco importante, la serie intenta que el espectador sienta empatía por personajes que acaba de conocer solo por verlos muertos; la falta de exploración de estos, su reducido tiempo en pantalla y su prematura muerte hacen que estos carezcan de la importancia que se les quiere dar. De cara a los antagonistas pasa algo similar, estos son muy vacíos y carecen de algo que les dé un mínimo de personalidad, el único que llama la atención es Crystal Bowie debido a que es el que logra poner en aprietos al protagonista en más de una ocasión, implacable en su accionar y tiene una presencia excelente, el resto son muy olvidables incluido el "jefe final".

Space Adventure Cobra desborda esencia ochentera, desde el vamos tiene una cantidad insana de colores vistosos y toda clase de elementos futuristas que constituyen su principal atractivo, si hay algo que recriminarle sería su falta de preocupación por desarrollar a su protagonista y el hecho de que su narrativa es bastante torpe a la hora de querer construir una premisa más seria, fuera de lo anterior destaca por tener capítulos y subtramas muy buenas siendo la mayoría de los capítulos bastante buenos. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, es entretenida y tiene momentos bastante memorables, si no obtiene mejor calificación es debido al simple hecho de que no sabe desarrollar de ninguna forma una premisa más profunda y seria, terminando en desastre todas las veces en que se intentó.

Gracias por acordarse, si es verdad que se hace en falta profundizar más en el personaje, en ese tiempo estaba el paradigma del personaje misterioso, y la trama peca de ser algo simple.
El principio de la historia me recuerda mucho al filme "El vengador del futuro", en que después de ir a una agencia de sueños se desata el caos y el protagonista termina siendo un agente muy poderoso.
Que tengas una buena semana.
La verdad es que tiene elementos interesantes como destaqué pero igual hubiese sido mucho más llamativo ver cosas como ¿Como obtuvo la psicoarma? No fue mala pero pudo haber sido mejor.
