Today I’m stopping by to tell you about a movie I really enjoyed called “Corazones con Suerte,” or “Lucky Hearts” as it’s known in English, which was released in 2023. It’s a charming romantic comedy that combines entrepreneurial passion, irresistible chemistry, and the eternal dilemma between the heart and ambition. The film stars Margie Mays and Alex Trumble, and it introduces us to Rosie-Ann, a passionate entrepreneur struggling to keep her small cosmetics brand alive.

Rosie-Ann doesn’t just sell products—she creates magic. Her creams and potions have a personal, almost enchanted touch that conveys hope, natural beauty, and the idea that anyone can make their own luck. Meanwhile, a cold and calculating corporate executive—played by Trumble—enters the scene, sent to turn the business around. His mission is clear: optimize, cut costs, and, above all, sell. This leads to a clash between the two, as Rosie-Ann infuses every jar with soul and creativity, while he sees only numbers, profit margins, and acquisition opportunities.

This contrast between the two protagonists drives the story, as she creates magic while he just wants to sell it. It’s a classic conflict, but one executed with a fresh take that avoids clichés thanks to strong performances and a screenplay that imbues both characters with humanity. The film shines in its romantic development, as the initial spark is evident from the very first clash of glances and schedules. Mays brings warmth, determination, and a vulnerable charm that makes Rosie-Ann’s struggle to hold onto her dream believable. Trumble, for his part, builds a character who evolves convincingly: the man in a suit who initially exudes efficiency ends up questioning his own passionless life.

Their chemistry is palpable in creatively edited scenes, impromptu walks, and moments of tension where desire clashes with professional interests. There are well-paced kisses, witty dialogue, and that heartwarming sweetness that defines the genre. Visually, the film is luminous, and the soft tones, the home labs filled with herbs and essences, and the landscapes that accompany moments of reflection convey optimism and warmth. The soundtrack complements the film with light melodies that reinforce its inspiring tone. Thematically, “Lucky Hearts” explores second chances, the importance of defending authenticity against soulless pragmatism, and the idea that true luck cannot be bought or sold—it is built through effort, love, and a little personal magic.

Although this movie is a bit predictable in its structure, it makes up for it with a brisk pace, likable supporting characters, and an empowering message about women’s entrepreneurship and the balance between career and heart. This isn’t a film that sets out to be revolutionary cinema or a deep drama; rather, it aims to entertain, move you, and leave you with a smile. And it succeeds. The film is a pleasant escape lasting just over 90 minutes. It’s perfect for an afternoon on the couch, a romantic date, or simply to remind yourself that sometimes the biggest risk is worth taking if you follow your heart. Rosie-Ann teaches us that magic exists when we believe in it, and the executive learns that not everything is measured in dollars. Hola amigos de Hive y en especial a la comunidad de Movies&TvShows, como siempre espero que se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En el día de hoy paso por acá para hablarles de una película que me gustó mucho titulada "Corazones con Suerte", o como se conoce en el inglés "Lucky Hearts" estrenada en el año 2023. La misma es una encantadora comedia romántica que combina pasión emprendedora, química irresistible y el eterno dilema entre el corazón y la ambición. La película está protagonizada por Margie Mays y Alex Trumble, y la misma nos presenta a Rosie-Ann, una emprendedora apasionada que lucha por mantener viva su pequeña marca de cosméticos.

Rosie-Ann no solo vende productos, ella crea magia, sus cremas y pociones llevan un toque personal, casi encantado, que transmite esperanza, belleza natural y la idea de que cualquiera puede fabricar su propia suerte. Por otra parte, entra en escena un ejecutivo corporativo frío y calculador, papel que interpreta Trumble, enviado para arreglar el negocio. Su misión es clara, optimizar, recortar y, sobre todo, vender, a lo que provoca un choque entre ambos, ya que mientras Rosie-Ann infunde alma y creatividad en cada frasco, él ve números, márgenes de beneficio y oportunidades de adquisición.

Esta oposición entre ambos protagonistas, es el motor de la historia, ya que ella crea la magia, mientras que él solo quiere venderla. Es un conflicto clásico pero ejecutado con frescura, que evita caer en clichés gracias a las buenas interpretaciones y un guion que dota de humanidad a ambos personajes. La película brilla en su desarrollo romántico, ya que la chispa inicial es evidente desde el primer choque de miradas y agendas. Mays aporta calidez, determinación y un encanto vulnerable que hace creíble la lucha de Rosie-Ann por no perder su sueño. Trumble, por su parte, construye un personaje que evoluciona de forma convincente, ya que el hombre de traje que llega a imponer eficiencia, termina cuestionando su propia vida vacía de pasión.

Su química es palpable en escenas de montaje creativo, paseos improvisados y momentos de tensión donde el deseo choca contra los intereses profesionales. Hay besos bien dosificados, diálogos ingeniosos y esa dulzura que se siente bien y que caracteriza al género. Visualmente, la cinta es luminosa, y los tonos suaves, los laboratorios caseros llenos de hierbas y esencias, y los paisajes que acompañan los momentos de reflexión, transmiten optimismo y calidez. La banda sonora acompaña con melodías ligeras que refuerzan el tono inspirador. Por otra parte temáticamente, "Corazones con Suerte" habla de segundas oportunidades, de la importancia de defender lo auténtico frente al pragmatismo desalmado y de que la verdadera suerte no se compra ni se vende, sino que se construye con esfuerzo, amor y un poco de magia personal.

Aunque esta película es un poco predecible en su estructura, la misma compensa con ritmo ágil, personajes secundarios simpáticos y un mensaje empoderador sobre el emprendimiento femenino y el equilibrio entre carrera y corazón. Esta no es una cinta que pretende ser cine revolucionario ni profundo drama, más bien aspira a entretener, emocionar y dejar una sonrisa. Y lo consigue. La cinta es un refugio agradable de poco más de 90 minutos. Ideal para una tarde de sofá, una cita romántica o simplemente recordar que, a veces, el mayor riesgo vale la pena si lo tomas con el corazón. Rosie-Ann nos enseña que la magia existe cuando creemos en ella, y el ejecutivo aprende que no todo se valora en dólares. Al final, ambos descubren que la verdadera suerte surge cuando magia y pragmatismo se encuentran a mitad de camino. Yo sin más me despido de ustedes y se las recomiendo un montón. Bendiciones.
