TEACH YOU A LESSON. Episode 1. Part 1 Explain

Today, I am making my very first post in the Movie and TV Show community. In this post, I will briefly share my thoughts and opinions about the Korean drama Teach You a Lesson. I personally watched the drama and collected all the screenshots used in this post. For today, I will only provide a short discussion so that you can get at least a basic idea about the drama.

So, let's begin by discussing Season 1, Episode 1, Part 1 of this drama.

the episode, we see a student named Park Dae Seok going to the rooftop of his school to commit suicide, and he eventually takes his own life.

A little later, we are shown the reason behind this tragic incident. It is revealed that he was being severely bullied. He had even been labeled as a student whom everyone was allowed to bully, and he was given no right to defend himself or speak out against it.

The following scenes then show us why he became the target of such bullying and humiliation in the first place.

At the beginning of this scene, we see a character named Ryu Jun Hyeong. He was attending another teacher's class during class time. Later, when his teacher told him to stop, he threatened the teacher. Because of this, Dae Seok punched Jun Hyeong hard in the face. After that, Jun Hyeong's friends beat Dae Seok and continued to bully him constantly.

After Dae Seok's death, Kim Gyeong Min, who had been bullied by everyone, thought that Jun Hyeong and his friends would finally be arrested by the police and punished. However, that did not happen. Instead, he became the target of bullying once again. As a result, he went to the rooftop of the school and attempted to take his own life, but he was unable to do it.

At this point, we see Gyeong Min sweeping outside the classroom. A student named Kim Gwang Su approaches him, starts hitting him for no reason, and continues to harass him. When Gwang Su repeatedly tells Gyeong Min to hit him back, the main character of the drama, Na Hwa-jin, arrives and slaps Gwang Su very hard. He continues slapping him several times.

Later, during the confrontation, Jun Hyeong arrives and tells Na Hwa-jin, You cannot just hit students whenever you want. He then tells everyone to record a video of the incident. Seeing this, Na Hwa-jin continues slapping Gwang Su, and the video of the incident quickly goes viral.

Afterward, the school principal arrives and stops the situation. He asks Na Hwa-jin who he is and why he is using physical force against students. Na Hwa-jin then replies, I am an inspector from the ERPB, and this organization has given me the authority to do this. Starting today, I will teach all of you a lesson.

After that, the principal takes him to a private room and tries to persuade him. He attempts to convince him that nothing bad happens at the school. However, our protagonist is determined to uncover the truth and will not stop until he gets to the bottom of what is really going on there.

The next day, Na Hwa-jin comes to Gyeong Min's classroom and announces, From today, I will be your class teacher.

He then begins taking attendance. At one point, when he notices that Dae Seok is absent, he asks about the reason for his absence. A student makes fun of the situation and says that Dae Seok committed suicide because he was afraid of studying.

Na Hwa-jin immediately punishes the student. After noticing that no one in the class showed any sadness or sympathy for Dae Seok's death, he orders the entire class to do push-ups as punishment. However, Jun Hyeong tells everyone not to do them. Out of fear of Jun Hyeong, none of the students obey Na Hwa-jin's order.

Na Hwa-jin then says, So, if one person intimidates , they will all listen to me instead of him?

After saying that, he grabs Jun Hyeong and presses his head down onto a desk. Seeing this, Jun Hyeong and the rest of the class finally begin doing the push-ups.

After the class period ends and it is time for lunch, Jun Hyeong uses his influence to skip the line and goes to get food before everyone else. There, Na Hwa-jin tells him to go to the back of the line, otherwise he will not be allowed to receive any food.

Despite the warning, Jun Hyeong behaves disrespectfully and uses his hands to take food onto his plate. He then throws the food into a trash bin. Seeing this, Na Hwa-jin kicks him, causing him to fall into the trash bin, and garbage ends up all over his body.

Afterward, Na Hwa-jin wipes Jun Hyeong's face with a dirty floor-cleaning rag, humiliating him in front of everyone.

My review

In Part 1 of today's first episode, our protagonist teaches a very valuable lesson. While watching this story, I laughed some time. It truly shows that everyone is equal, and no one should be humiliated or looked down upon. Everyone deserves respect, which is one of the important messages we can learn from this K-drama.

I have divided Episode 1 into three parts to make it more interesting and easier to follow. Since this episode is quite long, breaking it into sections will help everyone understand the story better and enjoy it more.
