(EN/SP) Charlie Sheen: To be successful you don't need to be an Angel 😎😎, Documentary Review

Charlie Sheen leaves a great lesson in his documentary about how family love can pull you out of the Dantean hell of substance abuse, but also punishes you because it's not easy to care for someone like that. It's like holding a bomb in your hands that explodes when your friend or child dies. That's what I perceived in the stories of those closest to Charlie, who lived each day waiting for the worst news.

I remember in my college days that my friends, practically all of them, were fans of Two and a Half Men, and I remember when they mentioned that Charlie's womanizing, drug-addicted character was a faithful representation of the actor Charlie Sheen himself. After watching the documentary, I can guarantee you that the actor is exponentially more disastrous in his real life than in the series, haha, and if you don't believe me, go ahead and watch it.

One thing to note is that I knew about Charlie since the 90s because of the movie Hot Shots, which I saw on VHS, haha, and when they mention it briefly in the documentary, I remembered how funny it is. If you're familiar with some of Charlie's filmography, you'll have a similar feeling when you learn about the joys and suffering that good old Charlie experienced during those times.

Two episodes full of Charlie's reflections and liberation that you can't miss on Netflix. I saw someone who has matured a lot, and that was nice to see.

Charlie Sheen deja gran enseñanza en su documental sobre como el amor de la familia te puede sacar de los infiernos dantescos del uso en exceso de sustancias asi como tambien les castiga porque no es fácil cuidar de alguien asi, es como tener una bomba en las manos que cuando explota es porque tu amigo o hijo pereció, eso percibí en los relatos de aquellos mas cercanos a Charlie que vivían cada dia esperando la peor de las noticias.

Recuerdo en mis tiempos de Universidad que mis amigos, practicamente todos, eran fans de Two and a Half Man y recuerdo cuando mencionaban que el personaje mujeriego y adicto a lo sabroso de Charlie era una representación fiel de quien le daba vida el actor Charlie Sheen, luego de ver el documental te puedo garantizar que el actor es exponencialmente mas desastroso en su vida real que el de la serie jaja y si no me crees pues anímate a ver.

Una nota a destacar es que en mi caso sabia de Charlie desde los 90 por el film que en ingles se llama Hot Shots o para la parte español mas conocida como loca academia de pilotos, la vi en VHS jaja y cuando la nombran ligeramente en el documental, recorde lo graciosa que es. En tu caso si conoces parte de la filmografia de Charlie, tendras una sensacion similar que escala al conocer lo que vivia en alegrias y sufrimiento el buen Charlie para esos momentos.

Dos pisodios llenos de reflexiones y liberación por parte de Charlie que no te puedes perder en Netflix, vi a alguien que ha madurado mucho y eso fue bonito de ver.
