๐ฌ How a Movie Affected Me Emotionally
Greetings Hive family week in the Hive reach out community... The given topic is very interesting and spacial.. Watching movies is one of the favourite thing I usually do when I have free time.
Some times movies influenced us negatively and most times it affect our thinking, emotion and life styles. There was this particular war movie that I watched titled "sniper".
The movie was all about training, fighting and waging war.
Two different "arm force" were fighting against each other, both were doing their possible best in protecting and defending their country.
I saw how different kinds of dangerous weapons were used in striking, killing, and Bursting enemy's troops.
The movie was very interesting, you know.......seeing the high level of professional skills they applies in tracking enemy down, some soldiers were even dressed in an unrecognised outfits, they were looking like plants with leaves all over their bodies, mean why, they are well settled, sighting, and ready to strike with their snipers.
During the war,
many lost their lives, some were badly injured and so many terribly things which made it look so real. I was like Ahh.....soldier really suffer a lot.
I felt somehow uncomfortable but gathered a bit courage to finish the movie.
After the movie ended. I slept and dreamt found my self in a battlefield.
I was full of confusions ๐ณ
not knowing what to do ๐ฅบ
every were was so scary๐.
I woke up with different thought running in to my mind. I was asking my self,
"what type of dream is this?"
Then I recalled the war movie I watched earlier and started reasoning how terrible war can be.
My country Nigeria once fought a civil war, of which History say's it lasted for about three years before ending.
Imaginations kept filling my head and it was affecting my thinking, emotions and reasoning. I was also remembering a video I once saw about the Isreal and Hamas war,
where rockets ๐๐ were flying in the sky and so many life and property were destroyed.
All of these thoughts were heavy on me but as day went by, they gradually fades away.
Till today, whenever I come across a Nigerian soldier, I always say to myself:
"These people are really risking their lives to protect others.โ
Hmmโฆ this is truly a big task. Honestly, I donโt think I could ever be a soldier or any security personnel โ I just donโt have the courage or feel itโs my calling.
So, I decided to be myself and focus on doing what I believe I can do best.
Thank you for reading through. ๐
