Second Day of Filming
A couple of weeks ago I put the idea forward to the Colletive, I am a member of, to do a documentary.
We filmed 1 day, which was an intro, short interview, and a meeting with the collective and crew to discuss the plans moving forward.
The camera bag is packed and everything is charged.
Today is going to be good, we are shooting an interview with my dad and since it's a nice day, we will be filming it outside.
We'll have two setups where we can talk, and the rest of the shots will be B-roll and sequences to cut together and keep it interesting.
Once that is finished we will be going down to a local pub we regularly play, to interview the manager, and another member of the collective.
After that, we will go down to film a coffee session, while there I'll be interviewing the manager of the coffee shop the performances take place in, and there will be some B-roll taken of everyone setting up (myself included) because I film these sessions.
A segment of the session may even end up in the documentary.
It will also be good because we are introducing 3 new hosts of the Coffee Shop Sessions today, so it will be interesting to have their first day captured in the documentary, and we may even get a few words from them.
Today is going to be busy, but we will have plenty of footage to start really placing things on the timeline and get an idea of what the documentary is going to look like.
Gripes
A few days ago I was having a bit of a crisis, and in general was a bit annoyed about the documentary.
The annoyance stemmed from the idea that it isn't going to be as good as I thought it would be, and the fear that it was going to turn out to be a waste of time.
In my mind, this was going to be a collective project where everyone (or most) of the bands would get involved and be excited about it.
However, the first day of filming proved that, that was not going to be the case.
There are 20 bands involved in this thing, and only 4 representatives of bands made it down to it. I was hoping for many more people to be there, to really show the sheer amount of us involved in this Music Collective.
The meeting, sadly, didn't really show that which was a shame. Regardless of my annoyance, I do believe the documentary will be good, but I want to see more enthusiasm from everyone.
Everyone is busy, and I get that, but so am I, and I can still make it to most of the meetings and stuff. I guess that's where my head was at.
Seeing it though, with a bulked out timeline in the edit should give me the boost I need to push past the negative thoughts that sometimes fill my head.
It's never easy to get people to come forward for extra work, even when they could benefit. I hope more will help out.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does

Hello everyone I hope you are all good and well today in this post is some of the evidence to prove my case
If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
