Why PSYBER-X will succeed! #HIVE #HIVE-ENGINE rant!
Is this going to be a fat post? What is the point of making the title like this and not being able to discuss a tribe that will be coming onto the scene!
There are some amazing projects out there and they receive little to no recognition. Not only that, the ones that are proving themselves continue to not receive support. Small "dolphins" like me aren't doing anything much for these projects. So I put in a few $100 USD worth of crypto, make some posts.. big deal. Others are putting in a lot more work that isn't recognized. A few hundred bucks can't keep the lights on. Perhaps some Rayman Noodles.. but hey it's a grind for everything these days.
I was talking to a hive member who is starting their own tribe and they basically said to me everything I’m talking about in this post. There’s a lot of self interest on this chain and many don’t even realize the potential of regular revenue coming in aside from circle jerk "growth".
Ultimately why this chain will fail is because growth stagnates. Where is the revenue coming from? #HIVE needs revenue to grow, but instead you have whales swimming in their own piss.
#PsyberX was never heavily promoted and got very little attention from Whales. I mean, wouldn’t you want a AAA unreal engine game using #HIVE? Apparently not.. there's better shit tokens and tribes that bring in absolutely no revenue to look at. In the end this is a little rant, but like I have said before I'm proud that a game I started up with from the beginning has quickly put out a working project. Why quick? 2 years isn't long..
Anyways I'm stealing some of dynamiccrypto's stuff with the exception of the PRICE OF #LVL changing within the last week.

Well said! And, in my opinion, it needed to be said. When I see web3 games, most are pixelated, reverse-evolutionary games. The structure is create a token that is extremely inflationary and when it seems you're running out of room to grow that token, muddy the waters with another, and another, and another token, hoping that all the while, the initial tokens retain at least some value so the game can go on. Most people outside of web3 pay $50-$100 for a game to play on a gaming console and they never have to pay another dime...or they pay that and they have to pay for battle passes and upgrades forever, never batting an eye to the cost because it's entertainment. Bring in the possibility to earn from your gaming and now you turn most gamers away...It's so weird...and the ones who don't turn away stick with the "click once and wait 6 hours to click again" click farms.
After blogging on Hive for a year, I started looking into the games because...why not?! That's when I found Psyber-X. I had seen SPL, dCity (even bought a pack and some cards and what not), Rising Star (bought some packs there, too). They weren't really...entertaining...but they kept me looking. I'm hopeful that WOO will have a game that will be more interactive. The fact that I can actually play Psyber-X is massive to me. It surprises me that I can have a conversation with someone from an internationally well-known guild with over 10,000 members who is excited for our game, but on Hive, I'm lucky if I get more than 300 upvotes on a psyber-x post, most of those from people autovoting. You're absolutely right...if I'm a whale on Hive, what's in my best interest? A fleeting game that will grab someone's attention for 10 minutes then bot up the blockchain or a game that can bring active guilds to buy a token tied to Hive? I was expecting a lot more community involvement... rant over
people will have regrets in time and we will continue to bring value to hive onboarding daily!

It will funny when we all become whales after Psyberx gets notaced for how great it is. I can see these tokens getting gobbled up in no time. Our combined curation power will make posting Psyberx content a must for most gamers. In the mean-time we just spread through word of mouth. I have more people going to join Hive for this game. They never cared about earning and will play even just for fun. That's what makes this so powerfull, it's very fun to play!
