RE: Nonnas: a delightful Movie | Review

I did see this movie. It's not brilliant, but as you say, it is entertaining and even endearing. It's actually based on a true story, I believe. For me it was particularly enjoyable because my mother's family is Italian (actually Sicilian) and I loved hearing about the recipes. I liked the approach to food in the movie. Italians are really serious about their food and Italian cooks have their own special recipes. I found that characterization of the women true to life. Also, the actresses were believable and Vince Vaughn more likeable in this movie than he has been in others...more toned down :)

Nice review. I agree, watch it, but not on an empty stomach.
