Silver Ever After. 2025 (movie review)
Meeting the one you love and getting married is such a beautiful experience. Staying married to that one partner for many years is also another beautiful experience.
I really admire couples who have been and are still married for many years. It is not easy because marriage requires a lot of sacrifices, tolerance, compromise and understanding.
The movie I want to review today is titled Silver Ever After. It is a Christian family film produced by Laju Iren. The same producer of Last to Marry.
I watched this movie on Friday and I must say that the movie hit the bull's eye. Love is not enough in marriage. There are other important factors like communication, patience and mutual respect. All these make the couple go forward in marriage.
Synopsis
The movie follows the journey of a young couple who were deeply in love with big dreams. Then, the scene moved to 25 years later with the couple having grown up kids who had all left the house to start their own lives. Soon it became evident that there was a huge chasm in the marriage.
There were lots of misunderstandings but soon they got clarified and this couple had the privilege of mentoring another young couple who have been married for five years. The movie wraps up with a beautiful 25 years anniversary photo shoot and dreams finally coming true despite all the hurdles
If there's one thing I admire, it is the fact that no mention of divorce was heard despite the heated argument and disagreement between the older couple.
I feel if couples can disagree with the mindset of reconciling and not separation, a lot of marriages would be saved.
The film is a very lovely one that families and young couples can watch to strengthen their marriage.
There was nothing I disliked about the movie. The plot progressed smoothly and the flashbacks were really good. It gave depth to the movie.
I really enjoyed watching this movie. There were moments of laughter, tears and faith testings but through it all, victory was assured.
I rate this movie 8 stars out of 10. I hope for many more marriage successes.
Thank you all for reading.

Once any heated argument, the next thing is filing for divorce. Lol
I really admire couples who are still honouring their vows even after over 20 years later and still going. I feel these ones understand how important marriage vows are and not to be disrespected or broken.
Someone once recommended this movie to me but I haven't had time to watch it.

Happy new week ma'am
Same here desr
Alright ma'am
A lot is required to make this union called marriage work, and also last ever after. The points you mentioned are top most on the list, including maturity in every aspect - spiritual, mentally, emotionally, financially, and others.
Getting married is good but staying in that marriage and help make it work is the business of the two individuals involved, not one. No one partner can make a marriage work.
Anyone who intends to get into marriage should know that Marriage is sweet and sour. Never a bed of roses.
Some of the marriages we have these days are nothing but an opposite of what marriage should be. It's really a pity.

It is really a pity indeed

I will love to watch this movie so as to learn from it. Like you say, love is not enough in marriage because all the divorces we are having now will not be. Thank you for sharing.
You need to watch the movie. It is educative and interesting 😂
This kind of movies should be produced more, not the ones that are sponsoring divorce
