13 spoons a day, 390 spoons a month and 360 spoons left after 30 spit out!

This is the dietary rule that Mateusz, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy in early childhood, must follow for the rest of his life.

Life Feels Good, originally titled Chce sie zyc, is a uniquely beautiful movie about Matheusz's real life story that makes empathizing with every moment a necessity rather than a choice.

My first feelings after watching the movie were not about what we are, but what we will be in the future. Understanding the importance of how you were born, rather than when and where you were born, and watching the difficulty of coming to terms with the heavy burden of a congenital disease affecting your whole life was difficult in itself.

To be Matheusz is to open the door to completely different challenges. To watch was to anticipate that there might be more of them.

Although the film focuses on Matheusz's life and his experiences, it also focuses on the mother who experiences the difficulties of having a mentally disabled child. Between the processes of understanding and acceptance, the processes of resisting and fighting are successfully handled and reflected through the eyes of a mother.

Saying that he was not a plant with the help of symbols was Matheusz's biggest reaction and rebellion to all that happened. When faced with a problem, one of the easiest solutions is to simply destroy it instead of looking for other solutions. But this simple solution is no different from trying to end a life that insists that it is not a plant.

Dawid Ogrodnik, as Matheusz, gave one of the best performances I have seen recently. He shed light on Matheusz's life through his eyes and proved that self-expression can take many forms.

My favorite scenes in the movie, and the ones that made me smile, were the ones where Matheusz looks at the breasts of the limited number of women around him and rates them out of 10. I agree with every point he gives. lol

The most dramatic scene of the movie was when Matheusz's front teeth were removed because his teeth were damaging his lips while eating. In that scene, which I can consider as the tragic end of trying to solve the problem by destroying it, it was possible to hear the hatred and hatred against almost all humanity.

I can recommend you to watch Life Feels Good for many reasons, but I would like to mention two of the most important ones for me. I can summarize it as seeing a mother's struggle against her son's silent scream at the beginning and then seeing a living person's struggle against those who need to convince him that he is not a plant. Anyway, watch it and make up your own mind. Have a good time.
