Pedro Pascal is slowly becoming one of my favorite actors in the entertainment industry
Pedro Pascal can do it all 🎬
I'm currently only watching two shows and both of them star Pedro Pascal as the lead role. I'm of course talking about The Last of Us and The Mandalorian.
I used to always say that Jason Statham was my favorite actor. I still think he is great, but he's just not as versatile as Pascal.
The first thing I ever really remember seeing Pedro Pascal in was Game of Thrones. He got killed off pretty early in that show, much like Jason Mamoa. Pedro's role as Oberyn Martell was one of my favorite characters, I aligned with him in a lot of ways.
Since then, I have seen countless films starring Pascal and none of them have been bad. Believe it or not, I have never watched Narcos and I know that's probably one of his best shows to check out. As a matter of fact, I'm going to add that one to my list so I can finally see what it is all about.
I vaguely remember Pascal in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. I can however clearly remember this movie called Prospect. If you haven't heard of it, you totally need to watch it. He plays a man named Ezra and he an his daughter travel to a remote alien moon and all sorts of crazy stuff happens. I think this is where film studios started to realize that Pedro is extremely good at the whole "Man protects child thing". He seems to be doing that a lot now and it still has yet to get boring.
Triple Frontier is another slept-on Pedro Pascal movie that I totally loved. It stars all sorts of famous male actors such as Ben Affleck and Oscar Isaac. It's well worth a watch, especially if you are into military operations and tremendous landscapes.
Perhaps Pascal's funniest role I've seen him play is that of Javi Gutierrez in the Nic Cage film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Cage is right up there in my top 3 favorite actors, so that film really knocked it out of the park for me. If you haven't watched it, add it to your queue asap.
Are you with me in thinking that Pedro Pascal is beginning to rise to the top of the acting world? He has yet to disappoint me and several of his tv shows and movies are some of my favorites. I can't wait to see what he does next.

I always forget he had a part in GoT!
It was so long ago and he really looked younger back then, so it's an easy one to forget. Especially when most people think of Jason Mamoa as the most famous guy from GoT that wasn't in it for very long.
Know him as the Mandalorian. 👍🏻
I bet there are a lot of people that have no idea it is him under the beskar armor.
I enjoyed watching him in Narcos.
Will add The Last of Us and The Mandalorian to my watch list.
I really want to watch Narcos because I love tropical settings and Pedro surely is in his natural element in that one.
You'll love both of the other two shoes though. Both easily 9/10 for me.

I’ll have to check out those extra films and shows. I haven’t gotten much time to sit down and watch TV but you’ve moved some things to the top of my list!
Watching movies and tv shows does take a up a great deal of time. I can only stare at a tv screen for so long before I feel like it’s not a good use of my time. It’s still a fun hobby to enjoy occasionally.
Same here, I usually like to watch shows when I start the process of going to bed. Get one or two in before I close my eyes.
It seems that everything he touches turns into gold and I take as an example his participation in SNL where he performed very funny sketches.
I have seen him work many times and I was surprised that he was in the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and now he is starring in one of the best series of 2023 and one of the best Star Wars productions.
The dude is a bonafide beast in the acting industry. I can’t name one bad performance on his part. I watched Buffy when I was very young, so I honestly don’t remember him being in that show. I did see it on his credit list on IMDb.
I didn't know either and it is because of the great fame it has obtained that this information comes out.
It appeared in the first episode of the series.
I don't remember where I saw Pedro anymore, but he's definitely a very lively actor. I think he's an interesting person in real life).

Well it's amazing how one person can be anything once the director screams action . It make the movie so real you forget it was scripted and Pedro does it well . Kudos !
He certainly has a way of becoming his characters.
No doubt he is more stylish and versatile actor than any other actor out there.

I haven't watched either of these shows yet but I'll surely watch soon and there is no doubt "Josan Statham" is super start of industry. I first saw it in the movie Fast and Furious and I liked it very much.
Jason Statham's best movies in my opinion are Crank and Crank 2: High Voltage. You gotta watch those if you haven't already. Action-packed and hilarious.

The only movie that I've watched/ familiar with is the Kingsman. I've searched some movies that includes Pedro Pascal and here are some of the recommendations that I can give.
I did watch The Bubble but never watched either of the Equalizers. I'm. not sure how I had never heard of The Great Wall until you mentioned it. I will have to watch that soon as I see it has both Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal. Looks awesome!

Will Smith is pretty awesome. I loved Wild Wild West and the Bad Boys movies growing up. He's also good in stuff like I Am Legend, iRobot, Hancock, and all sorts of other stuff. Big Willie is a g!
I haven't watched any of his stuff until the Last of Us but I'm feeling a need to do a deep dive into both the shows and movies he's in. What a legend.
You'll probably be like me and enjoy everything that he's in. He sure did rise to stardom these past few years.

I have not seen these two shows but the way you are telling is very interesting I will try to see them in the coming days and then tell you how I feel.
The Last of Us and The Mandalorian are both some of the greatest new shows out right now. They can be slow at times, but the story always finds a way to keep me entrenched.
Thus, it is more fun to watch stories that have a purpose.
