When I asked my eldest son what his classmates usually do for fun, he said it’s mostly mobile games, YouTube Shorts, or scrolling through SNS… very typical of today’s kids, I suppose. Still, I can’t help feeling it’s not the healthiest way to spend time.
My youngest son (9) won't watch anything except YouTube these days. Even the doraemon movies that he used to like, he says are too long and not exciting enough now. I regret connecting YouTube to our TV...

I loved the Doraemon movies too! I actually think the length is what makes them good!
YouTube has a real mix of gems and junk since anyone can upload. There are some really interesting contents, but a lot of not-so-great stuff too.
My eldest son used to watch YouTube a lot—especially Shorts—so back then I would sit next to him, make the most disgusted face I could, and do everything possible to make him stop 😅
