Two movies that don't make as much of an impact [ENG|ESP]

In the world of cinema we will find films for all tastes and styles, and of course this will also generate a difference of opinions, some will love a film more than others, as human beings, we think and feel differently, and we will not always have the same impact when watching a film as everyone.

This does not mean that it is bad, just as I mentioned, some will have more impact, no matter how good and interesting the story is, in the end, it will not be something to watch again, just something of the moment and that's it.

Because I tell you this, a few days ago I saw two movies, which I read and heard good reviews about it, and of course it caught my attention, the plot, the story, it really looked interesting, and I thought I should give it a chance, so I decided to watch them, however, my perception was different, were they good, yes of course, but not as good as I imagined, no doubt, they are one of those movies you only see once and that's it, and that you would see when there is nothing better to watch.

In this film we see how a little girl is kidnapped, her desperate mother, goes to a woman, her mysterious neighbor, to help her find her, between the two begin this wild search and full of hidden passages, which encompasses this woman named LOU.

A story full of action with some suspense, there is no doubt that it has good performances, starting with the main character played by Allison Janney in the role of LOU, here we see a gray-haired older woman, who faces the bad guys, taking justice into her own hands, fighting, shooting, she was alone against all those men.

I think they exaggerated a bit here, don't you think, anyway, it was a movie with a duration of 1: 40, quite slow, boring, trite, I don't know, what else to tell you really, entertaining, yes sure a little, I always like to see how they end, even if the movie is not so good, or even with the series, it happens to me the same, just to know the end.

I thought the plot was different, I don't know what I imagined, but it was certainly nothing like what I saw here, and it is that at the beginning it starts something intriguing, but as you go watching it, you realize what it is about, what is this mystery that encompasses this woman, and then you think, well it makes some sense.

I can only say that this film shows women in power haha, if something like that, two women who fought to the end to save the little girl, with a good ending, nothing exciting, but as it is done, in itself the film had no great emotion, if you ask me if I recommend it, well not really, you will get bored, and it will not cause great impact, but it is my perception, you are free to choose.

FALL

In this film we see how two young adventurous girls, used to mountaineering, decide to face a new challenge, this for them was their chance to start again, leaving the past behind, overcoming several obstacles that disturbed their lives forever, however, they were willing to return to their adventure, and this challenge would become their ticket back to life.

But as they say over there, things don't always go as one thinks or would like, and this was what these girls found themselves, practicing this sport of mountaineering, without a doubt is something that not everyone dares to do, for me it is a way to face your worst fears, climbing so high, reaching so far, is not an easy task.

But back to the movie, I saw it because the name FALL caught my attention, one thinks this film is full of adrenaline, suspense, action, and well, if you can not deny it has something, but at the same time, it was something absurd, the things that happened and how they happened, you really have to be very ignorant or very masochistic to do this kind of activities without taking the necessary measures and precautions.

I am not an expert in this area of extreme activities, but I have seen several movies, and even one or another documentary based on real events, when there are people who decide to climb for example a mountain, they prepare in advance, they inform what they are going to do, because this is important, if something happens to them, someone must be aware of their location.

There is no doubt that these girls were, how to say, well, I already said adventurers, they were not professionals, I did not think so, especially one of them, I will not tell you more, but surely you can get an idea, the truth for me had many flaws and illogical in some things, if you analyze it a little, you will understand me, I do not say it was bad, but it was not one of the best.

If it had its moments, with some suspense, just looking at how far they got, it makes your hair stand on end, you can not deny that, you have points for it, but the rest, I leave it to you, to decide if you dare to see it, for those who have not done so yet.

As I said, not everyone has the same perception when watching a movie, some will love it, others will hate it, this is the good thing about cinema, there is something for everyone, all kinds of stories that we can continue watching, to continue criticizing, loving or hating, in short, in the world of cinema there is room for everything.

There are stories that will mark you, that will make you remember them, even if they have already been released for a long time, as well as others that you will never want to know or hear about them again, that's what it's all about, for lovers of good cinema, you know what I'm talking about.

En el mundo del cine vamos a encontrar films para todos los gustos y estilos, y por supuesto esto generara también diferencia de opiniones, algunos amaran una película más que otros, como seres humanos, pensamos y sentimos diferentes, y no siempre tendremos el mismo impacto al ver una película como a todos.

Esto no significa que sea mala, simplemente como mencione, a algunos les causará más impacto, por muy buena e interesante que sea la historia, a la final, no será algo para volver a ver, solo algo del momento y ya.

Porque les digo esto, hace unos días vi dos películas, las cuales leí y escuche buenas críticas sobre ella, y por supuesto me llamo la atención, la trama, la historia, realmente se veía interesante, y pensé hay que darle una oportunidad, por ello me decidí a mirarlas, sin embargo, mi percepción fue otra, ¿fueron buenas?, si claro, pero no tanto como me lo imagine, sin duda, son de esas películas solo se ven una vez y ya, y que se vería cuando no hay nada mejor que mirar.

En este film vemos como una pequeña niña es secuestrada, su madre desesperada, acude a una mujer, su misteriosa vecina, para que la ayude a encontrarla, entre ambas comienzan esta búsqueda desenfrenada y llena de pasajes ocultos, que engloba a esta mujer llamada LOU.

Una historia llena de acción con algo de suspenso, no cabe duda que cuenta con buenas interpretaciones, comenzando por el personaje principal personificado por Allison Janney en el papel de LOU, aquí vemos a una mujer mayor canosa, que se enfrenta a los malos, tomando la justicia por sus manos, peleando, disparando, era ella sola contra todos esos hombres.

Creo que aquí exageraron un poco, no creen, en fin, fue una película con una duración de 1: 40, bastante lenta, aburrida, trillada, no sé, que más decirles en verdad, entretenida, si claro un poco, a mí me gusta siempre ver como terminan, así no sea tan buena la película, o incluso con las series, me pasa igual, solo para saber el final.

Pensé que la trama era diferente, no sé qué me imaginé, pero sin duda no fue nada de lo que vi aquí, y es que al principio empieza algo intrigante, pero a medida que vas viéndola, te das cuenta de que se trata, cuál es ese misterio que engloba a esta mujer, y luego piensas, bueno tiene algo de sentido.

Solo puedo decir que este film muestra a las mujeres al poder jaja, si algo así, dos mujeres que lucharon hasta el final para salvar a la pequeña, con un final bueno, nada emocionante, pero como se le hace, de por sí la película no tenía gran emoción, si me pregunta si se las recomiendo, pues no la verdad, se van a aburrir, y no les causara gran impacto, pero es mi percepción, ustedes son libres de escoger.
