What a wonderful review! You've truly left me with goosebumps. I hadn't heard of this film at all, but from the way you describe it, it feels like one of those necessary, brave, and immensely loving works. The theme of giving voice to these women, to their long-silenced experiences, seems incredibly powerful to me. And the way you tell it, that hybrid of documentary and fiction with such a carefully crafted visual approach... it sounds like an incredible cinematic experience. Thanks for the discovery!
