And yes, the bear attack... Phew. I swear, in the theater, I felt like I was going to get hypothermia just from seeing how realistic and raw everything looked. Iñárritu's direction is masterful; he makes you feel the cold, the pain, and the desperation in every shot. The film is so good that, commercials and all, it captivates you. And yes, the plot is simple, but that introspective journey, that of revenge versus letting go... is what makes it great. A gem!
