RE: El juego de la fortuna / Moneyball (2011): Movie Review

That Billy Beane managed to put together such a successful team on a shoestring budget using only statistics is crazy, especially considering it broke records and everything. I'm curious to see how they developed that story, especially the Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill thing. I've always loved movies that make you think beyond the obvious. And what you mentioned about the Red Sox—that's brutal! It proves he was right. Maybe I'll get around to watching it one day; it sounds like one of those movies that makes you think.

The plot is excellent, because beyond breaking with the established norms of the time, they had too much pressure on them to solidify their project, as even their coach called them crazy, not believing in their system at all. The acting was also very good, especially Hill, who is usually associated with more youthful or comedic films, but here, he was sober. Greetings!
