Serie Violetta

¡Ya los extrañaba mucho mi gente de Hive! Hoy voy a hablar sobre una serie que marco mi infancia (si leyeron mi presentación ya sabrán cual es) sí, hablo de la serie de Disney Channel: Violetta. Quiero compartirles un poco sobre que trata, un mini tag y algunas verdades de esta telenovela juvenil.

I've missed you guys a lot since Hive! Today I am going to tell you about a series that marked my childhood (if you read my presentation you will already know what it is) yes, I am talking about the Disney Channel series: Violetta. I want to share with you a little bit of what the series is about, a mini tag and some truths of this youth soap opera.

Bueno, para los que no saben de qué trata la serie, Violetta, es una chica que guarda en su interior un talento innato para cantar, algo que heredó de su madre, una artista de éxito, y que desconoce por completo. Tras la muerte de su madre en un terrible accidente, su padre Germán decide criar a su hija en Madrid lejos de ese mundo, ocultándole todo lo acontecido en el pasado y su gran capacidad vocal.

Todo cambiará cuando regrese a Buenos Aires. Una vez instalada, empezará a tomar clases de música en la prestigiosa escuela Studio 21, bajo la supervisión de Angie, una profesora que será la responsable de descubrir el talento oculto de Violetta. Además, la joven conocerá a Tomas y León, dos jóvenes que se disputarán el amor de la dulce muchacha. ¿Sus armas? La música.

Well, for those who do not know what the series is about, Violetta, is a girl who keeps inside her an innate talent for singing, something she inherited from her mother, a successful artist, and that she is completely unaware of. After the death of her mother in a terrible accident, her father Germán decides to raise his daughter in Madrid away from that world, hiding from her everything that happened in the past and her great vocal ability.

Everything will change when she returns to Buenos Aires. Once settled, she will start taking music lessons at the prestigious Studio 21 school, under the supervision of Angie, a teacher who will be responsible for discovering Violetta's hidden talent. In addition, the young girl will meet Tomas and Leon, two young men who will fight for the love of the sweet girl. Their weapons? Music.

Bueno, ya que lo tenemos esto en claro, podemos continuar. Les compartiré algunas de mis cosas favoritas de la serie. Primero; puedo decir que mi temporada favorita es la tres, creo que de todas es la que mejor está desarrollada, aunque uno que otro detalle es ligeramente relleno, está muy bien hecha. Fragmentos de esta temporada me impactaron y siendo sincera, nunca me los espere la primera vez que la vi, como por ejemplo que: Violetta y Ludmila se hicieran hermanas, Diego y Francesca fueran novios, entre muchas cosas más que contaré conforme vaya avanzando esto.

Well, now that we have that out of the way, we can move on. I will share with you some of my favorite things about the series. First; I can say that my favorite season is three, I think it is the best developed of all, although one or two details are slightly padded, it is very well done. Fragments of this season shocked me and to be honest, I never expected them the first time I saw it, such as: Violetta and Ludmila becoming sisters, Diego and Francesca becoming sweethearts, among many more things that I will tell as this progresses.

En términos musicales (ya que el potencial de la serie era eso) mi canción favorita era…bueno, tengo que aceptarlo, ¡tengo muchas!, peeero, puedo decir que mis favoritas son:

1. Verte de lejos (pero la versión que canta león, ¡Qué buenaaa!).
2. Voy por ti
3. Te esperaré
4. Destinada a Brillar
5. Aprendí a decir adiós.

Esto es un decir por si me tocara elegir, pero todas me gustan. Mi disco favorito era Cantar es lo que soy, todas las canciones de ese Álbum son icónicas y no hay una que me desagrade en lo absoluto. Mi video favorito es el de Rescata mi corazón (¡demasiado romántico!, una de mis fav’s de la serie). Hablando de eso, aparte de Federico y Ludmila, otro de los shipps que me fascinaba era el de Diego y Francesca, tenía que decirlo, aunque me dolió que Marcos y ella terminaran, siento que encajaba a la perfección con Diego, (raramente, ya que ellos no se parecen mucho), pero su unión era demasiado hermosa.

In terms of music (since the potential of the series was that) my favorite song was...well, I have to accept it, I have many, but I can say that my favorites are:

3. I'll wait for you
4. Destined to shine
5. Aprendí a decir adiós (I learned to say goodbye).

This is just to say in case I have to choose, but I like all of them. My favorite album was Cantar es lo que soy, all the songs on that Album are iconic and there is not one that I dislike at all. My favorite video is the one for Rescue my heart (too romantic!, one of my fav's from the series). Speaking of which, aside from Federico and Ludmila, another shipps that fascinated me was Diego and Francesca's, I had to say it, even though it hurt me when Marcos and her broke up, I feel like she fit perfectly with Diego, (rarely, since they don't look much alike), but their union was too beautiful.

Mis opiniones sobre algunas cosas de la serie:

Aún me causa conflicto que el personaje de Marco al principio fue tan tierno y luchó tanto para conquistar a Francesca, luego se notaba mucho desinterés con ella sin motivo, la serie intento tapar esto por “miedo” a decirle a ella que se iba a ir lejos, pero al final, tampoco lo vi tan motivado a la hora de querer recuperarla, también siento que fue mucho relleno el hecho que haya vuelto y se moleste quedando el como el afectado, cuando en ningún momento pensó en cómo se sentía Francesca.

My opinions about some things of the series:

I still feel conflicted that Marco's character at the beginning was so tender and fought so hard to conquer Francesca, then it was very disinterested in her for no reason, the series tried to cover this up for "fear" of telling her that he was going to go away, but in the end, I didn't see him as motivated to get her back, I also feel that it was a lot of filler the fact that he came back and got upset and he was the one affected, when he never thought about how Francesca felt.

Tomás era más tóxico que león, pero sus técnicas de manipulación eran más discretas y emocionales. A este personaje le falto carácter, por hacerse el chico bueno no veía que jugaba con los sentimientos tanto de Ludmila, Francesca y Violetta(aunque en cierta parte con la protagonista tenía razón ya que esta se contradecía en múltiples ocasiones). A diferencia de Leon; que era más directo a la hora de ser celoso, pero había muchas más diferencias, ayudo a Vilu a salir de su zona confort, a luchar por sus sueños. Nunca se me olvida cuando la ayudo a andar en bicicleta y la ayudó a perder su miedo escénico. En fin, las acciones le ganan a las palabras, aunque Tomás hiciera música y le dijera palabras bonitas a la principal, no tenía motivación en ayudarla, sino alejarse a la hora de peligro.

Tomas was more toxic than a lion, but his manipulation techniques were more discreet and emotional. This character lacked character, for playing the good guy he did not see that he was playing with the feelings of Ludmila, Francesca and Violetta (although in a certain part with the protagonist he was right since she contradicted herself on multiple occasions). Unlike Leon; who was more direct when it came to being jealous, but there were many more differences, he helped Vilu to get out of her comfort zone, to fight for her dreams. I will never forget when he helped her to ride a bike and helped her to lose her stage fright. Anyway, actions win over words, even if Tomas made music and said nice words to the principal, he had no motivation to help her, but to walk away at the moment of danger.

Francesca tenía una de las MEJORES voces del studio, me causó conflicto que casi nunca la tomaban en cuenta para protagónicos (algo lógico ya que la protagonista era tini), pero siento que podía dar aún más con su hermosa voz y eso lo de mostro en su solo *”aprendí a decir adiós” o en sus solos que hace en italiano. Esta chica era mi personaje favorito. ¡Grande Fran!.

Francesca had one of the BEST voices in the studio, I was conflicted that she was almost never considered for leading roles (something logical since the main character was Tini), but I feel she could give even more with her beautiful voice and she showed that in her solo *"aprendí a decir adiós " or in her solos in Italian. This girl was my favorite character. great Fran.

Ludmila fue uno de los personajes con mejor desarrollo en la serie. Pudimos saber un poco de su pasado y la razón por la cual tomaba esas acciones con Violetta, cuando en realidad ella era buena y con un corazón noble que solo buscaba amor y que alguien le dijera que era espectacular, me gusto el hecho que de los castillo la hayan acogido en su casa y le hicieran sentir parte de su familia.

Ludmila was one of the characters with better development in the series, besides we could know a little of her past and the reason why she took those actions with Violetta, when in reality she was good and with a noble heart that was only looking for love and someone to tell her that she was spectacular, I liked the fact that the castles have welcomed her in their house and made her feel part of their family.
