Bienvenidos mis queridos amigos cine maniacos, hoy te presentó esta joya del género suspenso y terror basado en un videojuego llamado ELIGE O MUERE.
Con una duración de 1 hora y media, Toby Meakins el director de esta película, nos trae una historia totalmente distinta a la que estaba acostumbrado en la historia de un videojuego, como amante de los videojuegos, para mí es satisfactorio ver una película basada en uno, honestamente estoy muy sorprendido con esta historia, aunque es un poco corta.

Welcome my dear friends cine maniacs, today we present you this gem of suspense and horror genre based on a video game called CHOOSE OR DIE.
With a duration of 1 hour and a half, Toby Meakins the director of this film, brings us a totally different story than I was used to in the story of a video game, as a lover of video games, for me, it is satisfying to see a movie based on one, honestly I am very surprised with this story, although it is a little short.
La historia comienza en un hombre que comienza a jugar un extraño videojuego arcaico llamado curse, podría decirse que se asemejan a los juegos de la consola Nintendo de los años 2000, pero particularmente este tiene algo especial.
No es solamente un videojuego lleno de comandos incomprensibles, el que lo juega le ocurrirán cosas totalmente inexplicables, el logo de este es una calavera y ya sabemos bien lo que eso significa cuando vemos esto en un videojuego, así es... la muerte.
Aquí no sucede eso de que muere tu personaje y recomienzas nuevamente la historia, no, por supuesto que no, aquí si mueres también morirás en la vida real, por muy extraño que te parezca.

Conoceremos a Isaac (Asa Butterfield) y a Kayla (Iola Evans), dos adultos a los que están comenzando su vida en esta fase, Isaac dedica su vida a la creación de videojuegos, donde lo veremos diseñando algunos personajes de uno de ellos.
Kayla es como la asistente de Isaac y se encarga del diseño de los personajes y otorga las ideas, pero también se encarga de la parte técnica del sistema de esto, por otra parte, Isaac es más como un hacker.
We will meet Isaac (Asa Butterfield) and Kayla (Iola Evans), two adults who are starting their lives in this phase, Isaac dedicates his life to the creation of video games, where we will see him designing some characters of one of them.
Kayla is like Isaac's assistant and is in charge of the design of the characters and gives the ideas, but she is also in charge of the technical part of the system of this, on the other hand, Isaac is more like a hacker.
Esta película me recuerda a Jumanji, un juego de mesa que para acabar los problemas deberás avanzar hasta el final, por lo que la historia es similar a esta, pero un poco más terrorífico, lo que más me sorprende es que este videojuego se encuentra en el interior de un Casete, los mismos que se utilizaron en la antigüedad, pero tengo entendido que este Casete solo se usaban para músicas, por extrañas razones este se encuentra en el interior de uno.
¿A qué me refiero que este videojuego llamado Curse se parece a Jumanji?
Quiere decir que una vez que inicies este videojuego no podrás continuar tu vida normal hasta que finalices todos los niveles, Kayla consigue un Casete en la habitación de Isaac, el cual tiene una nota que dice si quieres ganar 120.000 $ deberás finalizar este videojuego.
This movie reminds me of Jumanji, a board game that to finish the problems you must advance to the end, so the story is similar to this, but a little more terrifying, what surprises me most is that this game is inside a cassette, the same that were used in ancient times, but I understand that this cassette was only used for music, for strange reasons this is inside one.
What do I mean that this video game called Curse looks like Jumanji?
It means that once you start this game you will not be able to continue your normal life until you finish all the levels, Kayla gets a cassette in Isaac's room, which has a note that says if you want to win 120,000 $ you must finish this game.
En esta película, este juego obligará al actor a tomar una serie de decisiones, sea buena o mala, pero si intenta no elegir ninguna opción de las que este juego le asigne, podrán ocurrir cosas mucho peores de los que este les asigna.
Por mucho que intente huir de este videojuego, este lo perseguirá para todos lados, aun sin la necesidad de reproducirlo en el teléfono u ordenador.
Más le vale no intentar hacker este juego para conseguir la recompensa de manera fácil, porque morirás por hacer trampa.
In this movie, this game will force the actor to make a series of decisions, either good or bad, but if you try not to choose any of the options that this game assigns you, much worse things can happen than what this game assigns you.
No matter how much you try to run away from this video game, it will chase you everywhere, even without the need to play it on your phone or computer.
You'd better not try to hack this game to get the reward easily, because you will die for cheating.
Sinceramente, esta película es buena, pero no tanto, la verdad que hay muchas cosas que considero que hubieron hecho mejor en cuanto la historia, la temática es interesante y buena, pero hay muchas cosas las cuales ha tenido muchas críticas.
Pero se parece más a la película de Saw que otra cosa, aun así hicieron un poco bien las partes donde da esa esencia de terror, aunque no asusta en lo absoluto, lo que si es perturbarte es el sonido de algunas escenas cuando el videojuego comienza a salirse de control, eso sí, hay que tener mucho cuidado con el sonido mientras veas esta película, te puede dar un poco de dolor de cabeza algunos sonidos.
Por lo demás, esta película es regular, para ser la primera vez que veo una película basada en un videojuego de terror, esta no era lo que esperaba de una.
A lo que esta película entendí luego de ver el final, es "si no puedes con el enemigo, únetele."
Puede que haya muchos aspectos de esta película que puede que no te llame mucho la atención, de todas maneras te presentaré el tráiler por si te animas ahecharle un ojo.

Honestly, this movie is good, but not that good, the truth is that there are many things that I think they could have done better in terms of the story, the theme is interesting and good, but there are many things which have had many criticisms.
But it is more like the Saw movie than anything else, even so they did a little well the parts where it gives that essence of terror, although it is not scary at all, what is disturbing is the sound of some scenes when the video game starts to get out of control, yes, you have to be very careful with the sound while watching this movie, it can give you a little headache some sounds.
Otherwise, this movie is average, for my first time watching a movie based on a horror video game, this was not what I expected from one.
What this movie I understood after seeing the ending, is "if you can't take the enemy, join him."

It was ok but a bit ridiculous how the game can take control of people that are not even playing it. It seemed a bit too omnipotent in that regard but I did like the concept. I just with it had been implemented a bit more realistically.

I saw this movie last year but I did not finish it. The movie started in a brilliant way that kept me hooked and expecting much more but as it advanced, I was just disappointed. I feel like the horror was not so good. It was just too disappointing to finish. Thankfully, you've finished it and written this review.
There were a lot of negative things about this movie, but I was still waiting for something to come out to make it stop being weird in the final parts of it, but I finished watching it and made this review.
