Vengo a hablarles de esta maravillosa película del director Christopher Nolan, la cual estuvo en cines en el 2014 y se trata de una trama de ciencia ficción y aventura completamente cautivante. Con drama, seres de otra dimensión y personajes increíbles que te mantienen enganchado a la historia durante casi tres horas. Acompáñame a hablar de esta joya✨

Today I come to talk to you about this wonderful film by the director Christopher Nolan, which was in theaters in 2014 and is a completely captivating science fiction and adventure plot. With drama, beings from another dimension and incredible characters that keep you hooked on the story for almost three hours. Join me to talk about this gem ✨

✨La trama | The plot✨

Nos encontramos en un futuro distópico, año 2076, donde la humanidad ha debido adaptarse a los increíbles y casi devastadores cambios del cambio climático, por lo que el cultivo de alimentos necesarios como por ejemplo el trigo se ha convertido en una odisea. La supervivencia de la humanidad pende de un hilo muy delgado.

Un grupo de astronautas en secreto desarrollan una misión para lograr encontrar nuevas esperanzas de vida, algo que pueda salvar a la humanidad o al menos a una gran parte, aunque estas esperanzas en su mayoría son sólo especulaciones, aún necesitan mán investigaciones. Al mismo tiempo una pequeña niña llamada Murphy, hija del expiloto e ingeniero de la NASA Joseph Cooper, comienza a notar movimientos extraños en su habitación: cosas que se caen y extraños patrones formados por polvo… Para ella es un fantasma, para Cooper no tanto.

We are in a dystopian future, the year 2076, where humanity has had to adapt to the incredible and almost devastating consequences of climate change, for which reason the cultivation of necessary foods such as wheat has become an odyssey. The survival of humanity hangs by a very thin thread.

Finalmente se dan cuenta que estos patrones son una especie de código binario y coordenadas que los llevan a encontrar lo que ahora son las oficinas de la NASA y allí, Cooper es reclutado para participar en esa gran y soñadora visión para salvar la humanidad… Pero esta misión conlleva un sacrificio, ya que de irse Cooper no sabe cuándo volverá, por lo que no desea alejarse de sus hijos. Murphy tampoco quiere que se vaya, ya que incluso una de las cosas más impactantes es que debido a los “efectos relativos de los viajes espaciales” Cooper volverá con la misma edad con la que se fue, seguirá en sus treinta. Mientras el curso del tiempo transcurrirá sin excepción para Murphy. Esta le ruega que se quede, que incluso el fantasma dice que se quede. ✨Los personajes y el elenco| The Characters and the cast✨

Matthew McConaughey es Cooper. Con una actuación excepcional representa con pulcritud este personaje que es un héroe que decide sacrificarlo todo en pro de un bien mayor que sí mismo y su vida, además de que también contempla el bienestar de las personas que ama. Tenaz e inteligente, hace todo lo posible por conseguir lo necesario para cumplir con su misión.

Mackenzei Foy es Murphy de joven, luego es interpretada en su edad adulta por Jessica Chastain. Ambas actrices también representan a este personaje maravillosamente bien. Al igual que Cooper, Murhp es una mujer tenza, inteligente y perseverante que tampoco descansa hasta que logra cumplir su objetivo. Se aferra a la idea de rescatar a su padre y a la vez contribuir a salvar la humanidad. Mackenzei Foy a pesar de ser una chica joven es una actriz muy buena, representa la testarudez de una adolescente de manera genial pero la actuación de Jessica está, como es usual, a otro nivel. Simplemente maravillosa.

Matthew McConaughey is Cooper. With an exceptional performance he neatly represents this character who is a hero that decides to sacrifice everything for a greater good than himself and his life, in addition to also contemplating the well-being of the people he loves. Tenacious and intelligent, he goes to great lengths to get what it takes to accomplish his mission.

Mackenzei Foy is the young Murphy, then played in her adulthood by Jessica Chastain. Both actresses also portray this character wonderfully well. Like Cooper, Murhp is a tenacious, intelligent and persevering woman who doesn't rest until she achieves her goal. She clings to the idea of rescuing her father while also helping to save humanity. Mackenzei Foy despite being a young girl is a very good actress, she represents the stubbornness of a teenager very well but Jessica's performance is, as usual, on another level. She’s just wonderful.

Anne Hathaway es Amelia Brand, Michael Caine es el profesor Brand, Matt Damon como el doctor Mann, Wes Bentley es Doyle, David Gyasi como Romilly, Topher Grace es Getty, John Lithgow como Donald y Casey Affleck es Tom Cooper. Todos estos actors y actrices de igual forma desarrollaron personajes excelentes que aportan mucho a la trama, además ves como se meten en el papel, como los representan de forma magnífica y te hacen conectar con cada una de sus trágicas historias.

Sin embargo, mi única queja es con el actor favorito de muchos, Timothée Chalamet. Representa al joven Tom Cooper, hermano mayor de Murphy. Aunque el personaje es bueno y aporta un anclaje para la historia de Murphy y Cooper, me parece que la actuación de Chalamet es floja. Apenas se notan expresiones en su rostro por lo que no conecté con este personaje hasta que crece y es interpretado por Casey Affleck.

All these actors and actresses likewise developed excellent characters that contribute a lot to the plot, you also see how they get into the role, how they represent them magnificently and make you connect with each of their tragic stories.

However, my only complaint is with the favorite actor of many, Timothée Chalamet. He plays young Tom Cooper, Murphy's older brother. Although the character is good and provides an anchor for Murphy and Cooper's story, I think Chalamet's performance is weak. There are barely any expressions on his face so I didn't connect with this character until he grows up and he's played by Casey Affleck.

✨¿Fue ciencia? | Was it really science?✨

La película plantea teorías sobre agujeros negros, agujeros de gusano y la relatividad. El director Nolan quería crear una historia lo más realista posible tanto en trama como en efectos especiales, por lo que recurre a trabajar con la asesoría de Kip Thorne, físico teórico que se encargó de plantear teorías cercanas a la realidad científica además de colaborar en el planteamiento de las tomas de cámara que ayudaran a comprender de forma sencilla las representaciones de los agujeros negros realistas.

The film raises theories about black holes, wormholes, and relativity. Nolan the director wanted to create a story that was as realistic as possible, both in plot and in special effects, so he resorted to work with the advice of Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist who was in charge of proposing theories close to scientific reality as well as collaborating on the approach of the camera shots that will help to understand in a simple way the representations of realistic black holes.

Así que hasta cierto punto la ciencia ficción tenía una base sólida aunque por supuesto, sigue siendo una historia más.

So to some extent science fiction had a solid foundation, but of course it's still just another story.

✨Mi opinion | My opinion✨

Sin duda la manera en la que está narrada la historia la hace cautivante, ya que las respuestas son dadas a medida que se desarrolla la trama por lo que en un principio no queda muy claro el origen de ciertos misterios, como ese extraño fantasma que le comunica cosas a Murphy.

Además se notan lo detallista que fueron al momento de crear las teorías tan aproximadas a la ciencia real y representar de forma espectacular con muy buenos efectos especiales el universo en el que vivimos.

La selección del elenco fue muy acertada, así como la manera en que se desarrolló toda la historia. Incluso la banda sonora aporta una experiencia completamente inmersiva, el trabajo de Hans Zimmer es absolutamente fenomenal, creando una ambientación musical magistral que le aporta emoción y majestuosidad a muchas escenas. Podría incluso hacer un post aparte dedicado únicamente a la obra maestra de este genio musical.

Aparte proporciona un lado dramático que conmueve a cualquiera, ya que la historia de Cooper no es la única trágica. Todos sacrificaron una parte de su vida por salvar al resto, muchos incluso cedieron su vida entera…

Undoubtedly the way in which the story is narrated makes it captivating, since the answers are given as the plot unfolds, so at first the origin of certain mysteries is not very clear, such as that strange ghost that communicates things to Murphy.

In addition it is noticeable how detailed they were when creating the theories so close to real science and spectacularly representing the universe in which we live with very good special effects.

The selection of the cast was successful, as well as the way in which the whole story is developed. Even the soundtrack provides a completely immersive experience, the work of Hans Zimmer is absolutely phenomenal, creating a masterful background music that brings emotion and majesty to many scenes. I could even make a separate post dedicated solely to the masterpiece of this musical genius.

Besides, it provides a dramatic side that moves anyone, since Cooper's story is not the only tragic one. All of them sacrificed a part of their lives to save the rest, many even gave up their entire lives...

No doubt it is one of the best masterpiece out there... I have watched it multiple times and felt the same way!

Like that Theme music of interstellar is my favorite of all time. Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan Two Goats Made this possible. Awesome review.

Esta es de esas películas que se pueden ver cada cierto tiempo, en mi opinión también es de lo mejor que se puede ver, en lo particular disfruto mucho de este tipo de historias de ciencia ficción, además, así como lo mencionas, la manera de narrarnos la historia es lo que nos termina por sorprender y al mismo tiempo cautiva.

Que buena película, la he visto varias veces y es impresionante la historia en dónde siempre hay oportunidades.

Me gusta todo el tema del tiempo, lo cual es muy importante para esta y otras historias escritas y dirigidas por Nolan, pero en este film se evidencia mucho más.

El tiempo es un tema recurrente en las obras de Nolan pero aquí es aún más primordial y lo demuestra de mi has formas. Es una excelente película.
